Khamzat is the only fighter that will end up with Conor -- Khabib social media numbers by the time he retires. Khamzat is a social media darling and has become a meme online and does welll with all ages. Poatan is stiff dude and not meme worthy.

Khamzat will definitely get more active this year also but regardless even with less activity he is a bigger star then Pereira.

The electricity around a Khamzat fight is pretty undeniable. Even given the DDP fight being boring for the average casual fan.

I still struggle with getting excited for his fights until he is in the cage, though, given his history of ailments. The injuries and illnesses and time off probably hurt his appeal, but when he does get it there, it feels pretty special.
