Who's current win streak is more impressive? Imo it's pretty much even all things considered but it's interesting to debate.

Mutual Opponents: RDA, Barboza, Trujillo, Tibau

Khabib's unique opponents (best to worst): Michael Johnson, Al Iaquinta, Pat Healy, Thiago Tavares, Kamal Shalarus, Darrell Horcher

Tony's unique opponents (best to worst): Kevin Lee, Josh Thompson, Danny Castillo, Lando Vannata, Katsunori Kikuno, Mike Rio

- Strength of schedule is pretty close but I think Tony's is a little better
- Tony has a better finish rate at 7/10 while Khabib is 4/10
- Khabib fights have been more dominant overall with Tony having tough moments against Lee, Lando and Barboza
- Both have one close/controversial decision Khabib -> Tibau, Tony -> Castillo

What do you think?

Khabib was more dominant against their common opponents.

This thread was just done a couple days ago, and with a side by side comparison.

Tony's streak is more impressive due to the finish rate alone.

So according to your logic 8-2 with 7 finishes is BETTER than 10-0 with 5 finishes?

Not sure about that....

Tony is the more exciting but worse fighter. Khabib is boring but better as a ufc fighter

Khabib has looked nothing but dominant.

I expect Khabib to win everytime he steps in the cage.

Yes Tony is a monster and his win streak is impressive but when they faced mutal opponents Tony went to war while Khabib treated his opponents to ragdoll sessions.

Do to Tony actually losing to a fighter Khabib subbed , Khabib is the Champ .

Yea but the thread is about only the 10-0 streaks. When Khabib was getting decisions Tony was finishing.

Fought with a broken arm. The Tony that went on to win ten times consecutively after the loss would beat Michael Johnson.

RDA only.
For the rest, Tony finished and Khabib didn't. That fact alone makes it at LEAST debatable.
Khabib's performance over Barboza was vastly more dominant than Tony's over Barboza.
A finish isn't the only factor.

I would have Thompson ahead of Lee.

It depends on what you see as dominant. Never did Barboza give up and look for a way out against Khabib. There was always that option. Where as with Tony, he didn't want to be in there anymore, so he shot out of desperation into the most danerous area of Tony Ferguson's arsenal.

There were multiple moments in the Tony vs Barboza fight where Edson was dictating and winning the fight. There wasn't a single second of his fight with Khabib where Edson was in control.

Sure it is.
I guess Anderson Silva dominated Chael Sonnen.
And if you say he did, you're an absolute idiot.

"Winning," perhaps. Dictating, no. Throughout the entire fight, Barboza was fending off the inevitable. Here's the difference between Tony and Khabib against Barboza. Against Khabib, Barboza never had a chance because he could never play to his strengths. Khabib took his best tools away from him, and forced him to rely on his worse ones. Khabib put his best tools against Barboza's worst tools.
Against Tony, Barboza threw everything he had, but Tony was still there coming forward. Tony let Barboza use his best tools, against his own best tools, and eventually Barboza broke to the point where he willingly went to the ground to be submitted.

You can say one is more dominant than the other in your opinion, but it's still going to be debatable, depending on what you think the definition of domination is.
