Media Khabib's training camp | weight cut episode

There's no glory in beating gsp at this point, period lol. I think if khabib wants a big marker for his legacy, he has to move up and fight the ww champion or just have a longer reign at LW.
There's no glory in beating the consensus GOAT of all MMA? A man who when he last fought won the MW Title? Beating GSP would very very much be a nice addition to Khabib's resume. Literally the best win you could ask for.

Not at 40, no. There's no glory. There's only excuses for why it happend and fantasy bookings. "Man, I would have love to see 32 year old GSP vs 32 year old Khabib" shit like that would pollute the message boards.

It's just going to be excuses Due to his age and relative inactivity for the last few years.

Ok so if Khabib fights again to get to 30-0 who do you want to see him against? I imagine Tony's stock has dropped and he's probably past it so no glory in beating him either. Chandler? Hooker? Oliviera?

He fought multiple times a night. I don't think it was atypical for fighters to fight at a higher weight class on the regionals. They're not going against world class athletes.

It's like saying oh back in college, a guy who's a small forward in the nba use to play center in college and try to bring that as an argument to why they guy should play center in the nba It doesn't compute.( Not saying you're making that case but I see it from people who talk about the weight a a certain way)

What guy in khabibs regional circuit is big as Usman, big as Woodley?

Khabib says that but he had no interest of moving up period even against Woodley. Because of the mass difference. As quoted by the video I sourced and quotes. Before Usman it was Woodley and he still said no
Here's the big flaw in your argument. When a potential Woodley fight was in the table as a potentiality, Khabib was already booked for a lightweight title fight. Moving up would have been completely illogical. Also, in that same time period Khabib didn't say he would never move up. He said he was focused on lightweight before considering moving up. He only said no WW after Usman won the belt.

And to answer what big guys Khabib fought back in Russia; all but 2 or 3 of Khabibs WW opponents had fights at 185. So he was certainly fighting guys around the size of bigger welterweights. As far as quality goes, obviously outside of a few outliers there was nothing to write home about.

The pre-UFC welterweights are no where near as threatening to him as the welterweights in the UFC right now.
Most ufc WWs are washed up LW . Not really all that threatening imo

Ivs are allowed and was always the norm. as it’s very important and you rehydrate much better. It’s Just over the last few years USADa banned ivs. In the ufc.
I'm aware of the rules on IVs. The guy was claiming that it is impossible to recover large amounts of weight without one, which is false on every level

Your avatar, is that Khabib at super saiyan red ?

So if Usman and Khabib fought who would you favor?
Usman because he is bigger but I feel like I don't have enough info about how Usman does against a high level offensive grappler.

Ask me again after he fights Burns
