His 1st title defense which will be around September or October, as Tony is out and won't be back till 2019 and Conor have his legal issues to deal with, booking a title defense with them is in impossible, so that leaves Alvarez/Lee/Gaethje/Poirier.
First up, Alvarez. Now he is out of the title defense too, as many of you are supporting his case for a title shot, ill tell you why. Simple. He has only 1 fight left in his contract. It doesn't make sense for the UFC , as a business, to give him a shot with that 1 fight left in his contract. What if he wins? Unless they make a new contract, I don't see it possible for him to be considered the next challenger for the title even though he promoted himself with that kryptonite shit and what not.
That leaves Gaethje/Poirier/Lee. 1 amongst them are for sure the next challenger for the title. After the end of this month, we will get to see the whole picture of who is the most eligible.

Khabib's 2nd title defense (80% chance he wins the 1st title defense) will be against Tony/Conor for sure. Just my thoughts around the LW title debacle

Reality is, that Ferg is injured, and Conor doesn't want to defend, and the LW division needs a champion to move things along. Stay in your own little world if you want. I choose to stay in reality.
