There is an old Dagestanian proverb: "When it is hard in weight cut, it will be easy in fight"

Man, even exhausted Aldo's defense and head movement is amazing.
Fluke loss and if you have the belt for as long as GSP your bound to meet someone who almost has your number. And hey he still won.
Lol, Conor haters love to misrepresent the Mendes fight. He handled him with ease and showed good defensive grappling. If Conor stayed as a FW he wouldn't have any losses and would looked as unstoppable as Khabib. Dumb decision to move up, but he takes chances.
GSP has looked as unstoppable as KHabib. Only thing is GSP faced harder competition and didn't retire as soon as he was on the top.

You’ve been here long enough to know that he could have ten title defenses and they’d still just hate. It’s never good enough
they aint gonna shut up anyways, dont listen to em.
Isn't that part kinda important for GOAT status? I mean good foe Khabib, he has achieved everything he can in MMA, but to cement himself as the greatest he needs more than that.
Yes,you could say the same about Conor who never defended his title, but his career, and Khabibs are not typical of most fighters. Not everyone's journey is the same, not everyone has the same oppurtunities. Khabib could have been champion much earlier if it werent for his injuries.I dont. But title defenses would go a long way....

Khamzat is like playing UFC Undisputed 3 on easy with cheat codesNow fasten your seatbelts and watch Khamzat make the game obsolete.
He sure looked like he was throwing the fightThat didn't count because they were both managed by Ali and Gaethje threw the fight.
missed weight and learned from itLOL he missed weights and sabotaged fights so many times.
GSP would beat all the guys on Khabib's record too
several 145ers, late notice replacements and even a guy with the same management team
I thought the Gaethje fight put this to restOnly because he avoided playing on D1 wrestler mode, of course.
Agreed its been a hard road. The guy nearly had his career ended by the injuries in training. Its still ok to acknowledge how in his fights,no one really had him too badly hurt. Thats kinda amazing.Khabib won his second UFC fight due to judges who were likely not paying attention because those who were did not score the fight for Khabib; nor did Khabib appear to believe he had won the fight.
The reason this lucky break is relevant is because the man he is juxtaposed with in that GOAT talk dominated nearly all of his early opponents and at his worst won his fights convincingly.
So Khabib clearly did not sail by all his opponents and dominate them. His submission game clearly evolved over the course of his career, he did not come into the UFC as a worldbeater who could submit anyone.
Acknowledging this is not hating on Khabib its acknowledging reality.
How to do you say "didn't starve himself" when talking about Khabib but then say you wish McGregor stayed at FW where he looked like a a step or two away from death everytime he stepped on the scale?GSP reign has been more impressive. More competetive weight class, didn't starve himself to make weight. Had alot of title defenses and looked so invincible people where tuning out.
I also think if Conor whould have stayed FW he would have looked even more unstoppable than Khabib.
So don't agre we haven't seen it before.
It’s like walking into a construction site and walking out without any sawdust on your clothes. For some reason the term that comes to mind is scam. Fukker scammed us! Really shows how amazing his striking was. People form preconceived notions and never adapt them and just look to defend them instead of having malleable views they adapt with reality. Defence is just a much a part of striking as is the stand up. A true specimen a shame he struggled with weight and being inactive and the early retirement. Guy had the clearest path to undisputed GOAT and threw it away. Really should ponder on Shevchenko’s advice on the matter. Some pretty powerful words.dude was getting bored of smashing everyone, so he retired.
We never saw his blood !!!
wtf ae you talking about, conor has multiple losses and got beat to shit in the mendes fight and lets not talk about gsp whose face looks like a carved turkey on christmas after his fights. neither looked unstoppable as khabib in their careers
