This is all good for khabib. Before, nobody gives Conor a chance against him, now though, "oh Conor will so expose his striking and knock his head off!"
Also, why would Conor fight someone who is impossible to beat. Now, with this "exposure" its more possible for him to accept the fight. So please dear Conor nuthuggers, continue doing your job criticizing khabib and making Conor more confident so he has the ballz to accept the khabib fight.

One flaw: anybody who always said Conor had no chance against Khabib is a dumbass

Khabib will absolutely maul Conor when they actually compete, Conor will be sapped of all KO power by the third and fourth when he MIGHT be able to defend Khabib's td.

Khabib's offensive striking is better than Ferguson's defensive striking

UFC will have the hype machine working overtime at full burn for this fight. No help needed.
Choo! Choo!

Conor has a puncher's chance. Anyone who thinks he has more than that is delusional.
That's an opinion and 'puncher's chance' is very general

He's a way better striker. If he can stay on his feet or get back to his feet, the knockout will be easy. Not a 'puncher's chance' in my book.

Khabib is going to tie up with conor very quickly, and violate him to Bolivian.

H'e not going to stand and trade with him.

<{danayeah}>
Wrestler vs puncher match-up favours wrestler in the 80% of fights, IMO.
Watch Khabib vs Barboza, MJ, they are both dangerous strikers, but got completely obliterated by Khabib.
Also he took down Al, whos takedown defense was 84% prior to Khabib fight and Khaba took him down at will IMO.
Yeah, he failed several times, but so what, he anyway got the tds when he wanted.

lol a dumbass is someone who doesn't know that professionals in the sport say that before

Khabib fanboys are sounding pretty insecure lately

I have been a diehard fan of Khabib's career roughly 4 or 5 years prior to his US debut

His performance at 223 was not good

He needs a better team behind him and a better nutritionist

That's a big if.. And if it were so easy.. Why didn't he KO nate? Nate is a mediocre fighter w no takedowns. Khabib is 26 and 0 w best takedowns in ufc. A punchers chance means only way he can win is with the KO punch. That's conors only way to win. It won't be a standup war because conors td defense is weak. Weak tdd vs khabib means ur on ur back getting g mauled.

I would love to see Khabib smaah him but I think Conor will be the first guy to drop Khabib and also the first to finish him. Conor has massively underated TDD, he is alot more skilled defending the clinch and avoiding it all together than he gets credit for. Khabib's amazing in the clinch, but closing that range will be deadly. If MJ can stop 3+ takedowns from Khabib after taking a beating in round 1, Conor can defend them too. Conor 2nd Round KO

Khabib isn't going to toy around with Conor on the feet like he did with Al, that much we can be sure about. We can be almost as certain that if Conor doesn't land something clean before getting put on his back in the first minute of the fight, he's getting fucked up badly.

idk khabibs striking is trash but his jab is solid. I imagine hisgonna GSP his way thru the fight jab jab TD spam all night to a UD. I dont think khabib kept Al in the fight to 'toy' with him tho thats fucking retarded, if he wanted to toy with him he woulda done it on top of him ala horcher, not standing outside of his comfort zone and letting the guy throw punches at him. Bib looked a lil worse for wear as the fight progressed, that weight cuts gotta take a toll on him. Dude needs his nutritionist back he looked great against barboza

Just playing around. I agree with you in theory. Conor has much more than a puncher's chance, though I don't know how much he'll have left in the later rounds, as another poster suggested. Khabib's definite favorite, but Conor is always dangerous, assuming he's still keeping sharp and training vs snorting 8 balls all day

you also need to consider that Khabib also didn't train for Al, that's why he is not as dominating as his other performances before.

'Puncher's Chance' has been thrown around very loosely in here...
A calculated knockout, or a build up to a knockout should not be considered a puncher's chance.
A puncher's chance is reserved for someone who is completely outclassed everywhere, where there is no path to victory... other than a 'lucky' punch

To say Conor only has a puncher's chance against anyone in the FW or LW division is a joke of a statement. Because he wins by strikes doesn't mean he only has a puncher's chance lol.

The same statement is used in boxing ffs
