#KhabibKnows

Past his prime, still not recovered from his last fight. Injured his arm early. Plus he’s been on psycho meds since after the Cerrone fight
So many excuses in one response. Lol @ injured his arm early, as if he slipped climbing into the octagon and Bronx had nothing to do with it.

Khabib would have tapped everybody that destroyed Oliviera. Nobody cares what you think. Khabib is GOAT, deal with it.

Guess we'll never find out cause the "GOAT" retired after 3 legit wins (Conor, Poirier, Justin) so much for fighting for legacy.

You keep saying the same thing in all Tony posts

He retired at 29-0 which nobody in the history has ever done. He retired beating 3 top p4p fighters in a row, nobody has done that ever. And lol at not considering RDA legit win. Those are 4 wins bigger than any GOAT contender ever had except Jones and he was on steroids. Khabib legacy as GOAT is cemented, keep crying.

He would've went up to 170 if he really was about legacy lol Silva, Jones, GSP, even Cornier or Miocic have a better resume than those 29. Not like it matters anyway.

Tony would've smoked Khabib the first three times they were supposed to fight. Tiramisu saved Khabib from Tony.

Dream on.

No version of Tony was ever good enough, but that's ok no shame in him being a gatekeeper who got a good string of wins.

Do Bronx would tap Khabib.
You learned the completely wrong lesson from tonight.
The lesson was "good grappler on bottom is negated by an elite grappler on top."
Do the math on Khabib + Oliviera + gravity being a thing. Khabib beats Oliviera for the same exact reason that Oliviera beat Tony. The persistent "he's more dangerous from being in a weaker spot" myth in MMA should be declared to be finally dead. Charles just proved it (yet again) in front of our eyes.

Honestly if anyone thought Tony was the same after taking that kinda beating from Gaethje?...

Just get out, as much as I was rooting for him tonight even I knew that once Justin RATTLED his Brain it was going to an UPHILL Battle for Tony and Khabib was right.

You don't take that kind of punishment and bounce back, not at his age either.
I didn't think he'd beat oliveira by technique. I thought he would outwork him by volume. But then again, I didn't see oliveira grapple fucking him and picking him up like Tony's his kid and dropping him in the pool.

Poirer, who's more of a striker, almost had Khabib. Khabib said himself the guillotine was tight. Tony's D'arce could've worked. That's just being realistic.

And Khabib could have rag dolled Tony into a sub, given he subbed three former #1's in three title defences it seems pretty likely.

One fighter went undefeated and retired at P4P#1 the other is on his way to being a prelim fighter.

Tony with back to back losses, one to strikes, one to grappling so it seems he has no safe ground any longer, there's no where Tony is dominant enough.

Khabib is not invulnerable. If you can't see how Tony back then would've matched up well against Khabib that's up to you. Khabib got tired fighting against a real estate agent, Iaquinta.

Agreed

His style isnt suited for longevity and he is 36 at LW.

He gets dropped in a lot of his fights and all the damage accumulated

I was just about to post the same thing. Khabib called it, you don't come back after taking a beating like Tony did from Justin.

It's sad but it looks like Tony is headed to gatekeeper status at LW.
You can just see the difference in Tony from 5 years ago when he was meant to fight Khabib to now

He looks a lot older and less physical
