LW has always been hyped up and overrated. Khabib never beat someone on over a 5 fight streak. Usman beat Colby who was on a 7 fight win streak, burns who was a 6 fight win streak, and Woodley who was on a 6 fight win streak with 4 defenses. Khabib never dethroned a reigning champ, Usman did. Khabib only has 3 title defenses, usman has 4. Khabib never beat a BJJ specialist, Usman beat 2. Usman beat every kind of opponent there is, khabib only fought strikers and wrestlers. Man I really was going to just comment on how polls like this just seem like recency bias. The level of competition and how they dominated, for as long as they did between jon, Anderson, and gsp puts them levels above khabib. What khabib did was special. Outright amazing honestly. He is imo the goat lw but his run overall lacks compared to the others. I'll remember that for as short as his contention and championship run was, it was almost completely flawless in a division of sharks. However guys like jon, Silva, and gsp survived for years in a shark tank. Years. Dominating. For years. Think about it.

Dustin has one of the best wins over prime Max Holloway. Dustin's is 11-2 at LW only losing to a MJ (he got caught) and the GOAT Khabib. Dustin is right now the best fighter to not have won an undisputed title

Gaethje is 22-3. WSOF champion. Has fought nothing but ranked guys since he's UFC debut. Trashed TF and effectively caused his decline
