There’s a very solid chance Khabib would’ve lost to Volk on his first attempt to get the 155lb belt. Styles make fights and it would’ve been a very very tough outing for Khabib who has atrocious striking by comparison and likely couldn’t hold Volk down for 25 min.

Yes, just saying Islam is more complete overall. Islam would have taken it to connor in the standup much better.

Islam is far more complete. Striking/Grapping king, Habib was grappling king with questionable standup. Islam is the superior striker.

Islam would knock Khabib out. I need to see more of Ilia at 155 to have a proper opinion. Agree about him dominating everybody else. Max would be the easiest fight for him as there is no one punch threat and he can full on chase him down.

Islam is the greatest fighter in the modern era of the sport and would slaughter Khabib. It would be like little bro vs big bro. People now don't get it but later will. Islam has mastered both ground and striking game perfectly for MMA. Followed by fight IQ and cardio. He is in my mind the perfect mixed martial artist.
