I’m not taking anything away from Mike -> he’s an all-time great. Like I said my favorite fighter growing up.

I just think his dominance came from being insanely good at a specific style. Which was more explosive peek-a-boo offense, elite timing, power, intimidation, and short range combos.

Tyson wasn't known for being adaptive (game planning mid-fight), long range boxing, defensive versatility over various other boxing styles. Which is one of the reasons he struggled against fighters his gameplan didn't work against and rarely (if ever) won late from technical adjustments.

Khabib’s wrestling, however, was complete in every sense. -> takedowns, control, transitions, pressure, adaptation.

Nobody ever figured him out, but he adapted and learned to read his opponents more with each passing round. I’d say Khabib developed his craft in a more well rounded way than Tyson did.

Which was my initial point that he is more complete and well rounded in wrestling than Tyson was in boxing.

Tyson was a world champion in boxing. Khabib wasn't a world champion in wrestling. You're comparing Khabib's wrestling skills in his MMA career.
