Social Khabib talks about his popularity in Muslim world and comparisons to Ali

Personally I had to look up two of those names. Not saying you're wrong, most people aren't karate fans like me.

However what I like about Khabib is that he's religiously on a level that even most Muslims, arguably the majority, aren't. Like three of those guys listed there are born in Europe which to me highly suggests they're nowhere near as religious as Khabib who grew in Dagestan which is highly religious, almost in a premodern way. Salah was born in Egypt which is fairly religious to be fair but even still I don't think it compares to Dagestan.

Saleh is very religious from what i understand, the others not so much

Btw white is a meaningless racial marker. Asians for example are white skinned. Doesn't make them european, as are many middle easterners/afghans/pakistanis. People from the southern Mediterranean tend to be darker, doesn't make them arabs.

Historically people identified along the lines of a shared language and culture. The white race doesn't exist any more than the brown race does.

Race is a social construct, back in the day white/black wasn't a thing because people mostly were around others with the same skin color. They defined their identities on different factors, tribe, religion, language, social class, etc. This is one of the reasons why racism is so retarded.

I agree that racism is retarded, even if not because of your reasoning. Yet people taking note that outsiders were of different colour and looked different from their own isn't a new thing. It goes back centuries prior to the invention of "whiteness" as a tool to raise some up at the expense of others.

Racism doesn't start as soon as someone with a different skin color shows up though, it only happens when significant numbers exist side by side and there is perceived resource scarcity.

Even in Nazi Germany, the few black people there were mostly left alone as long as they didn't consort with locals too much. Why did they treat black people better than white Jewish people? Because blacks weren't a threat to them.

Gravity is a fact of science. Things like race, ethnicity etc aren't. They're man made constructs. Don't know why this is so hard to comprehend.

Are you suggesting sicilians, slavs and Scandinavians are the same genetically and that historically they saw themselves as one people ie the "white race"?

I reckon Khabib is a much bigger star than Ali in the Muslim world. He's an authentic Muslim born and raised, with generations going back. Ali just converted out of bitterness for the white man's religion (extremely ironic, maybe he'd have reconsidered if he was actually literate).

Khabib is more popular the world over. He also has great respect for Ali.

Here on Sherdog, it must be acknowledged that even though we love Khabib, it is true that Ali remains supreme.
