News Khabib statement on plane debacle

Imagine if you're on a plane that's crashing or making an emergency landing. Do you really want Khabib there to take instructions on how to operate the emergency exit
Yes.

Wait, I just seen his twitter video and there is almost zero context besides the flight attendant being very aggressive with beeb while he is completely calm. What exactly happened?
He was sitting in the aisle with the emergency exit door.

For reasons unclear, there were concerns about him sitting in that aisle. (An innocent explanation is due to language issues.)

The flight attendants asked him to move to a different aisle as a result.

Any time we're meant to hate Muslims, I instantly blame the government and their shitty psyops. They used to be good at brainwashing us. Look at JFK—how many people even know that it was the CIA and [redacted, heaven forbid I get more yellows] behind it 100%. Somebody wants to engender artificial hatred towards Islam and it's probably because we're about to invade Iran or something.

Nah, fam. I wasn't even on the planes that didn't exist on 9/11, so how do I know it was really some Muslim extremists? What about the recent truck of peace attack in New Orleans? Didn't the guy die? Probably another patsy. Who was ACTUALLY driving? Was it even a person? Or a corpse like 4chan thinks?

sorry fed boys, people like me will always exist and you can't jfk us all. do something. do it fast so i don't have to go to work anymore please

Well you did enter the thread, read it, and replied to it. Usually people who don’t give a shit ignore the topic and go on their way.

As snarky and technically right at your standard retort sounds, it's also pretty lame:
If something is stupid, not important, a waste of time, BS, etc., etc., it's fine to think so, and still comment to others, publicly, that you don't approve for whatever reason. This is . . . . pretty fundamental to how conversation, and society, work.

So.....you're wrong? Also, I agree that coming in just to say "who cares" is weak, but it's not quite as cringey as then saying that they must actually find it important because they say they don't like it.

Not only that and i love Khabib, defend him in every thread and call him the goat. And yeah its sh** to think like that but just look at him on the plane. With a hoodie, closed face, that kind of beard, knowing people looking exaclty like that fly planes into buildings and try to open the exit door in the middle of the flight, you cant blame them for not feeling comfortable. We in here know who Khabib is ofc and how respectful and great he is as a human being, but the rest of the world has no clue and just sees a guy, with a hoodie, angry face looking like the same guys that crash planes for fun.

Always fly with Dagestani Airlines!

I'll take a Muslim looking guy like Khabib who speaks decent English than a fat guy who can't move his ass or a woman, or a nerdy or camp looking guy who will panic as soon as chaos starts during an emergency landing. And I bet they wouldn't be told to change seats because it would be called discrimination towards fat people / women / lgbt people, or else.

Thinking someone can't assist during an emergency landing because he has a Muslim beard is fucking retarded.

Boo Hoo, I hope Khabib's feeling weren't hurt. If I was on a airline and a Muslim looking guy was sitting by the emergency exit and was causing a problem, I wouldn't be comfortable either. Sorry to say, but that's the world we live in now. Who is it that wants to kill Westerners for the last 20-30 years [or more]? Muslims. Who just killed 14 innocent people in New Orleans? A muslim. I know 95% of Muslims are peaceful, decent people, but that other 5% hates us. Sorry Khabib, that's just the way it it now.

Where do you get your stats that 5% of all Muslims hate Westerners and want to kill them?

You mention a man who killed 14 people in New Orleans being a Muslim. What about all the other mass shootings you get on a regular basis in the US? Are those all commited by Muslims too? Or do they not matter because they didn't shout "Allahu Akbar"?

Sub 80 IQ Sherdoggers (among them, the usual suspects ALWAYS crying about fighters from certain places or certain faiths) trying to justify what is pretty clearly profiling or at the very very least a cunty flight attendant power tripping, by making this about Islam or Khabib himself.....

Absolutely predictable and absolutely moronic.

You can easily google who can and who can’t sit on the exit row.
Here one example for you, it’s not that complicated. https://support.southwest.com/helpcenter/s/article/emergency-exit-seating-qualifications

I would have no problem. I understand his English better than Nate Diaz or Stipe. I think his English is pretty good honestly.

But I mean there has to be a legitimate reason to move him or remove him right. It seems he didnt make "eye contact" with her. I sincerely hope that isn't the sole reason, lol.
What I learned from watching several people get arrested from flights\airports is no they don't need a reason. It's similar to an interaction with the police. Just shut up and do what they ask you to do. Unless they are trying to kick you off the flight then you can argue back because that's the worst they can really do at that point. Just make sure you argue and get off cause you'll be arrested also.

Flight safety is considered very serious and the airlines have pretty much entrusted their staff to do what they need to do to feel safe. Overall I agree with this approach even if it will lead to some mistakes here and there.
