How about he fights Kebab. He's more than earned it. If Kebab fights Conor though then El Cucuy can either wait and fight the winner, or fight Eddie.

I think they don´t care about Tony, it took him 10 fights to get an interim TS. He´s not a draw and this fight is cursed, I think they'll have no problem ditching him.
 
This is because Ferg said the same thing and so Khabib took the Edson fight.

Well UFC is the one booking it but Khabib is telling Tony to do the same.

Honestly Fergie did mess up the last event.even if was not by his own choice,and I think if they schedule this fight one more time a hecatomb may happen and the world will end.

So give me a little more time.
 
PS: Tony is out 10-12 months imo so doesn't matter Khabib will have to fight this fall.
 
They should just schedule Khabib vs Ferg again....... but make sure Eddie is the co-main so he can replace whoever it is that pulls out.
Then it's win, win (unless you were Eddies original opponent).

Oh yea it's a big time injury no joke for a mid 30's athlete even if he comes back he won't ever be 100% the same, some issues should still be there if he ever goes 100% on it.

Really did a number on his ligaments I think he completely tore his MCL if not even more, he just had surgery to rush things along but I'm telling you he will be out for a long time maybe even a year, depends on his recovery and how well he nurses it.

This ain't something easy I don't think we see him fight this year so all this Khabib has to face him next isn't that realistic.

 
Do we even have an estimated time line for Tony’s rehab ?

From personal experience, I know a blown knee can take a year or more to rebound from. And even then it may never return to it’s pre injury form.

I’m considering Tony to be out for a year. And any time I ever comment on this division. It will be based on that.

Just as I consider Cain, Convict, and Nate to be retired.

So I’m not speculating on any possible future opponent for the guy. The convo is a non starter.

Ferguson should fight Iaquinta.

I don't think he owes anyone anything, it's just better to have a tune up after an injury.

I really think he'll make a big mistake if he jumps straight to Khabib.

If Khabib stays at LW. And if Tony ever fights again. They will have to reschedule that fight.

How can you not give the number 1 contender a TS for any extended period of time ? The only justification for that is if the number 1 contender just lost to the champion very recently. Like Tate, or Wonderboy. I see it as you have to beat a minimum of two top contenders to get a third TS.

No, Convict is not the number 1 ranked contender to me. That joker is retired and would only return to participate in some form of a work that the WWE would be proud of ( Mayweather in mma ... LMAO ). Or that polarizing trilogy fight.

If Tony returns. It should be for an immediate TS. He’s earned it.
