It's obvious that, because their job from a practical standpoint is completely unnecessary, that they are there to be eye candy. I see absolutely nothing wrong with that, but of course Khabib would as he's a devout Muslim. Being modest plays an important role in Islam, whether it's acting modestly or dressing modestly. The ring girls are dressed immodestly, that is, dressed to encourage sexual attraction, and that is a no-no to devout Muslims.

Khabib's awkward discomfort, which is very obvious in certain instances, is that he has to compromise his religious beliefs to pursue his path as a fighter because the ones that PAY THE MOST MONEY AND HAVE THE MOST PRESTIGE take place in regions that are not religious dichotomies. That's why every once in a while you hear something that hits a little different. He's repressing a shit load so he can get them $$$s.
