Olives do everything better than khabib used to , olives even push it further Je beats their opponent at their own game and after this submit them with such ease , without even a sweat. Khabib did not want none of that and let Islam do the work , Islam at least have a better striking. Tony and khabib at their prime were engaging in wars , olives make it look way easier. Olives is the king time reigning champion , 2 more wins and he equal khabib winning strike. It will only be the beginning
 
Khabib left when there was absolutely no one in the division he could match up with for even slightly close odds.
October 2020 was Khabib's last fight.
Olivera at that time was on a 7 win streak of Lee, Gordon, Lentz, and Miller. Basically the bottom of the division and no one was ready to make that matchup and Khabib wasn't going to wait a year until he beat the guys he beat.

Olives does not dominate his opponents the way Khabib does. Olive's fights are exciting because he fights like Rocky.
He takes serious damage, gets back up (sometimes bloodied) and then lands a phenomenal shot of his own before following up with a submission or finishing blows.
It's just more exciting because it doesn't go to a decision.

Khabib actually dominates his opponents and makes them look weak.

Work on that grammar.

Charles has been dropped 4 times in his last 3 fights, always gets busted up in back and forth wars during his title run, and lost a 10 - 8 round to Chandler.

When Khabib retired, almost the entirety of Charles' win streak was outside the Top 20, and his one Top 10 win was a 2 - 3 Kevin Lee whose last two LW fights were a loss to Iaquinta and a win against non-Top 10 Gillespie.

Charles is the proven best LW right now and I love his fights, but his fanboys are insane.
 
The great thing about khabib is he doesn't take any damage and was so dominant once it went to the ground. Olivera is great too but hopefully he can sustain it in the long run since he gets hit a lot. If only he was this good before khabib retired then we would've seen this fight happen.
