You could see after he badly beat up Edson on the ground in round 1 that he was just full on confident he was going to win and went right after him standing. I know Khabib is a pressure fighter anyway, but I think he was more measured and leery of Edson's power in round 1, as well he should be. Once he put the hurting on him and sensed the blood in the water, he was going full brunt forward, throwing knees and punches, etc.

To Edson's credit, he still threw big strikes late when he must have been exhausted and was clearly hurt. There was that one spin kick that looked to me like it connected but Khabib just sort of ate it without issue. That's scary.

Damn good fight. Great performance from Khabib. Nice show of heart from Barboza. Many others would have wilted and gotten stopped.

Barboza was concussed after the first. A lot easier to outstrike someone when you've beaten them senseless and made them gunshy. Also, Barboza has great kicks but not so great hands and Khabib's pressure made it impossible for Edson to get off many kicks.
