I'm American so I have a fairly limited knowledge of soccer/football, but I feel like I could rattle off the 'big name' clubs, e.g. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United etc.

For whatever reason I've never heard or come across people talking about a big Russian football club.

The Russian football clubs are only familiar to people inside of Russia whereas English/Spanish ones are world-famous.
