Isn't being an actual proper muslim all about respect and kindness? I thought it was, and that a heap of dick heads just interpreted it their own way, much like has been done with pretty much every religion.

I lived in Sri Lanka for a couple of months, and all the muslims I met were annoyingly kind lol.

^ i like when people post from actual experience. and yes youre right about that. and for those who get all weird and bent out of shape, you being right doesnt mean that other people cant be super kind and respectful too... this is just a matter of what Islam teaches, which youve mentioned. some seem reluctant to attribute his behavior to that for some reason.

More like most religions are about preserving strong family bonds and the media profits perverting the hell out of that. Ever met a violent religious person in real life? Almost as if someone's trying to divide and conquer.
