Khabib-McGregor negotiations under way

He has more to lose by taking fights on short notice, just like every other fighter. Losing to Mendes would have been a great set back for his career. Not only did he fight Mendes on short notice, he fought him with a torn ACL.
He didn't have a torn ACL.

Lol @ comparing a guy who had a full camp vs a guy who was hunting and had no camp.

I like how you didn't address the fight readiness of Nate and Chad.
Whos to blame for that? The champions who both pulled out. Conor took what was available. Would you have him sit and wait as opposed to accepting a replacement? People do mental gymnastics to hate on this guy, I swear

I see it the same way

How do you think Conor and the UFC could logistically make it work?

Seems like a really difficult task

For conor it simply won't work. For any other fighter, the time delay PPV hit would be workable. Conor is going to be getting a huge fixed pay and PPV points. No one is going to tune in at a 7 hour time difference.

Sadly the only people giving Conor credit for lasting 10 rds are other professional fighters. Casuals were expecting him to win and all the haters like to point out Floyd being 40 and convinced themselves that Floyd went easy on Mcgregor when in reality he was being more aggressive than usual and appeared to be trying to finish Mcgregor early. They say he didn't fight defensively because he didn't respect Mcgregor while at the same time they say if he was serious he could have taken Mcgregor out in rd1.

How was he going to finish him in rd 1 by fighting defensively lol. Mcgregor was doing great when he was the one moving forward, if Mayweather fought defensively it would have went the distance.

Trying to finish him early...by barely throwing a punch in the first 3 rounds?

If you can’t see that Floyd went easy on Conor, then you simply don’t get combat sports. He ‘fought’ him the same way I would spar a child up until the stoppage. A kind of nonchalant “you can’t do anything to hurt me” approach that saw the most cautious world champion in boxing history lazily spam right hands on his way to walking Conor down.

Conor’s boxing is good by MMA standards but I would bet he’s not even the best pure boxer in Dublin, by a long way actually. No shame in that, because it’s not his thing. He chased the money and got it, but lets not kid ourselves into thinking he ever believed he could win.

He didn't tear his ACL? They even chronicled the tear in a documentary. You really do believe your own silly narrative. You, sir, are completely delusional. You gotta get out of this echo chamber called Sherdog, my friend.

Haha, I love how it went From: "Conor will crush Floyd with one shot and break his little head"
To: "Conor fought valiantly and survived 10 rounds against the best boxer in the world"

You Conor nuthuggers were going to find a victory in this fight no matter what happened. Of course, when reality set it and everyone realized Floyd was toying with Conor the entire time (hence a TOTAL of 28 punches thrown in the first THREE rounds), Conor fans had to resort to trying to justify why their lord and savior couldn't land the knockout blow he was so confidently guaranteeing to the entire world.

No big deal though, keep telling yourself he is the greatest.
I never thought Conor would win at all but "Crush Floyd with one shot and break his little head"... Anybody that said anything like that was either trolling or completely retarded lol. I never thought Mcgregor had a chance to begin with.

You specifically said he fought with a torn ACL. That tear healed long before the fight.

What negotiations? I thought he was willing to take a pay cut ?? That should make things pretty fucking easy to negotiate

Can’t wait till he finds another excuse not to fight

Lol at pretending an 0-0 boxer fighting the best boxer of this generation and lasting 7 rounds (if you want to get rid of 3 of them) is still something to be ashamed of
It is when you are telling everyone and their grandmothers that you are going to STARCH Floyd within 2 rounds.

Conor said that.

He's torn ACL's twice, ya Melvin. I'm gonna stop being rude to you because I seriously feel bad for you.

Conor's ACL was healed by the time he fought. I'm not talking about the time he tore his ACL trying to pass the crushing guard of Max "Blue Belt Training Out Of His Garage" Holloway.

The silliest part about the Mendes/Diaz narrative is that he didn't even have to take the fights. He fought both those guys on short notice because champs pulled out of title fights. He could have just rescheduled the title fights. How dumb are these people? Seriously.

Yet another excuse. Max Holloway wasn't good. Awesome.

He was agressive until that uppercut landed then he decided to take his time and try to figure Conor out while waiting for him to tire a bit. You've probably never seen Mayweather box before he's always inactive early and usually loses at least 1 or 2 of the first 4 rds. Also my point is that when Mayweather was using his usual tactics Mcgregor was arguably winning and certainly wasn't having any sort of trouble. Mayweather saw how Diaz beat Mcgregor and implemented a similar gameplan.

Yes, I'm sure Floyd Mayweather studied tapes of Nate Diaz to figure out how to beat Conor McGregor. <Lmaoo><Lmaoo><Lmaoo>
