Incredible, he just destroyed one of the best lightweights without any problems... I think he beats Tony in a similar fashion.

Opponents only have a puncher's chance against him. I don't care who you pick.

the look on Barbozas face when it sunk in that he was not winning.....palpable.

He made #3 in the division look like a new comer, seriously. Doesnt matter who Khabib has and hasnt fought at this stage, he deserves to fight Ferguson next.

27-0 once he beats Tony and if Conor stops running.

Grappling he looks unbeatable, but there are glaring holes in his stand up game and his take downs are awful unless he can get you pushed against the cage. Far from unbeatable, someone will come along and exploit those things.

Doubted him before but tonight he sure was amazing. The real deal. I can admit I was wrong. They need to book this fight with Tony right away. That is the fight.

Takedowns are awful lol,get a load of this guy.

What you are saying is true but my God his top game is fucking brutal. He is straight up murdering motherfuckers.

Only Conor can beat him. Tony, very unlikely, he can pull a sneaky sub but I consider Khabib's ground game to be way better. He was winning black belt divisions when he was 22

Tony is different from the rest though imo, his bottom game with elbows and subs plus the cardio changes everything

His takes down starting from the middle of the octagon aren't great, he is very strong on top and in the clinch. That's why he doesn't go for them, he pushes people to the fence for a reason, it's his strong suit.

he looks incredibly beatable. no matter the skill level of a wrestler, proper undertook/sprawl technique can stop a takedown in a cage setting. at that point, you have to prepare for nonstop forward pressure. throw knees, teeps, uppercuts, straight punches. kick the body and legs. take away his power. if you get taken down, post and look to stand up ASAP. the longer you spend on the ground, the more damage you will take.

khabib is not the first fighter with his skillset. he probably won’t be the last. the technique involved in stopping him isn’t difficult at the elite level. everyone just seems to fight him at a mental disadvantage. don’t be scared of him. everyone knows what he’s gonna do. be prepared.

edit: i will revise this and say that “incredibly beatable” is a shit choice of words. you need a certain level of mental fortitude and physical attributes to beat khabib. i stand by my technical analysis but i do think there are a handful of guys who could pull the right gameplan off.

Run at Conor like that and we have a much different stroy.

Yep, long lay off, surgery, fucked up body from that weight cut and he still did serious work.
