Id be more interested in conor as the replacement. In all reality, this is a fight that had anticipation a while ago and it would be dynamite.

They why are you not working?There must be a reason? Can it be because of the Corona virus? Khabib have to fly from Russia to god knows where to satifies us. No fighter owes us anything.Do they even have a fucking venue. This was a shit show long time ago.

conor won’t take the fight on short term notice. Would he even make weight?

Now Tony will be forced to fight Gaethje or Poirier and if he turns it down he will be blacklisted for like the 10th time by Dana. Conor will fight Khabib next and Tony at age 36 will have to run another LW gauntlet

it really sucks

Sport comissions who sanction fights are closed...no sanction..no fight...

Theres too many roadblocks...who says russia is gunna let a private plane leave? .. Or reenter. ..

My problem isn't so much with Khabib taking this stand, I just don't understand why it's NOW. We've known for weeks that this thing is real, and it's a big fucking deal. Booted from NYC, places all over the globe shutting down. Multiple events prior to this one postponed (along with every other pro sports league).

So yeah Khabib, what you're saying isn't wrong. They're fighting a losing battle trying to do this show in mid April imo. But Khabib brother, your motivation for saying it rings very hollow. It seems to me like now you're home and that you know it would be a big inconvenience to get on a private plane and fly back to the U.S. or somewhere else far away to fight under far less than ideal circumstances, etc.

If his reasoning really was all the things he listed, why didn't he voice any of these concerns before? He seemed ready and willing to fight up until a few days ago.

Again, that doesn't mean I personally think they could pull it off even if he was willing to get on a private plane and go somewhere. I'm just saying his timing on taking this stance seems very convenient for him.
 
Gotta respect Khabib for not being just another prostitute and doing whatever the UFC says. It's an absolute embarrassment that they're still trying to put the card on in the midst of travel bans, uncertainty about location and exponential growth of the virus.

Dana himself said that every day the situation changes. That should be all you need to hear to know that this shouldn't be happening. How can you safely plan an event around something that is getting worse by the day? It would have been a travesty if the best LW fight ever had gone on under these conditions, with both men not at their best.

Glad Khabib knows his worth and doesn't care about the opinions of braindead fans who think this means he's scared. Same goes for Leon Edwards for how he dealt with his situation a few weeks ago.

Conor is acting like primeminister in Irland, Conor is advocating for his people to stay safe home. I don think he wants to break his promise. I bet you Conor would agree with Khabib with his decison. Ferguson dont have to fly anywhere to train, he have own built gym in blackbear. Khabib gym AKA is close and he cant train. Thats why he left to Abu Dubai, then Russia.
