He will make a more likeable champion than T-wood or Tony Ferguson ever will. Likeability = more marketable. And the guy have improved his English language a lot since coming to the US, props to him, it's a huge asset of what makes a fighter more marketable.

He's super respectful, funny, and not afraid to trash talk. He just needs a boost in activity, which he plans to do next year.

Once before Ramadan, once after, and another December fight to wrap up the year. He has done this in the UFC before he was injured. Hopefully he gets back to his old ways.

Undefeated... Has the skills to also challenge at 170. Pretty sure we would already know if he made it to the octagon more...

The dude has been his own worst enemy.

Here's to hoping he actually fights twice in the next 12 months.

His biggest caveat is that he just rarely makes it to the cage.

He is indeed a character, even though he's a pretty serious dude overall.

Number one bullshitz made me lol.

The guy talks an incredibly large amount for someone who can't stay healthy.

Then again, when you fight once every year, you have 364 days to talk shit, so that isn't surprising.

EDIT: Just out of random curiosity, I wanted to compare his activity to someone who got signed around (roughly) the same time as him (Jan/2012.) Turns out, Holloway made his UFC debut two weeks after Khabib.

Khabib's fights since then? 8.

Holloway? 18.

Looooove watching the man fight because he's a fucking savage and he pisses off casuals with his "boring wrestling."

But, he's broken my heart more times than any women because of how many times he was booked to fight El Cucuy.

T-Wood had 4 title fights in under a year. I will take that over likability any day.

His manager is a huge issue. Comes with massive baggage as well as a massive stable of of conned fighters.

"He'd be likeable if he fought more".. meanwhile Conor is marketed as the top star and hasn't fought in MMA this year, and hasn't fought a top contender in any division since 2014. He beat Poirier back then, and that was probably the last time he had to fight another legitimate contender on fair terms.

After that he fought The Siver who isn't top 10 material, then a short notice Chad Mendes who gassed as a result, then the Aldo fight which he stood more to gain than lose. Then the Nate fights were exhibitions to make money and duck defending the title. Then Eddie was him jumping past the harder fights at 155 to get a favorable opponent for the belt, similar to what GSP just did with Bisping.

So, Conor literally hasn't had a 'normal' (i.e., merit based, no cherry picking or queue jumping) MMA fight in almost FOUR years now, but its Khabib who needs to fight more?

He's genuinely funny, looks like he doesn't even know, which is common amongst non native speakers and bulletproof against lack of ideas for jokes and cringeworthy Colvingtonesque trash talking.
I'll take "I wanna fight your chicken" over any forced and rehersead crap.

Here's to his health, Sherbros.

i feel the overall weight of isis whenever hes home or discusses home, eventhough its not accurate I just feel it.

Though I like the idea of a kabal of elder males in his hometown giving him advices I also feel if they told him to attack america he would do it

Likable? Pulls out of most of his fights, misses weight, claims everybody in the world is ducking him.

He's quite the opposite.

Only the Conor fanbois want to see Khabib fail...for obvious reasons.

Everyone else loves the guy.
