Because he know if he loose just one time nobody will care about him anymore, he was a dominant champ but he didnt make people stand up like AS, COnor or many other champs did

He is scared to death to loose a fight because outside of saying "undefeated hamdoulilah" he cant say anything else to praise himself

That's why i can never like the guy

Im not reducing what he accomplished, it was a perfect run, but he play it very safe and talk a bit too much when retired

He left at the top and undefeated when he was still young, strong and dominant, everytime a great fighter is loosing, he is bashing him saying that the guy is finished, cant have two primes, took too much damages, blablabla

even if its true, how dare you talk when you left at 32 yo? Many fighter just begin to fight at 32 yo

He have the right to left at that age, while taking very less damage, just like other fighter choose to keep fighting to the point of loosing a fight or two (or more)

For me the career full of losses of AS, GSP, Lawler, Condit, JDS, Cain, Barao, or any other greats champs are way more impressive than the perfect run of Khabib, at least they pushed it to their limits and sometimes beyond

Well for GSP its not a great example because i think he is also the type of (smart) fighter who pick his fights and leave early before its too late, just like when he left after hendricks, choose to return when Bisping was champ or when he always avoided AS

How many great fights we missed, miss and will miss because khabib choose to leave at 28 YO??????????????????

And about actual champs, at least Usman and Izzy are taking every challenges they can and try to push their legacy and limit at the maximum

Izzy tried a shot in LHW and get his first loose but who care, if he win that one he would be double champ, for me its a great try, ballzy, he was not scared to loose

Usman is cleaning his division like nobody before, he refuse nobody, give rematch to dangerous fighters (colby, masvidal...), etc

Do you imagine Khabib giving a rematch to someone? hahahahh AL HAMDOULILAH or even trying to get a shot in higher division? bwahahahahha BISMILAH

He’s always rubbed me the wrong way, he has two title defenses. TWO. Yet he considers himself the greatest MMA fighter to have walked the earth because he’s “undefeated”. Khabib made sure to protect that record as best he could, from missed weight cuts, to pulling out of fights etc. guys like GSP, Jones, Anderson, all had more title defenses. All reigned for several years. Yet because he has zero losses, he’s the goat? Thats not how it works. What about the fighters that tested themselves in lower weight classes? Ya know Conor, say what you want, but he could have stayed at 145 forever, Khabib never even entertained moving up in weight. I mean I understand as you get older it’s harder to cut that weight, which he cut a shit ton of weight that his nut huggers like to downplay, you know you cut he a lot a weight on the two missed weight cuts. And the shady weigh in at Abu Dhabi. But that never entered his mind. Jones, say what you want, he’s going to HW, GSP took 4 years off, came back at a higher weight class and took that belt, so yeah.

Khabib is helping a ton of people now, his legacy goes beyond his fighting career, he is judging his own path and making his own way. Just because he left you unsatisfied inside the ring, doesn't mean he has nothing else to give to the world. Khabib honestly is doing so much outside of the ring, and he is being a role model to many kids and upcoming fighters and making an impact in more ways than one. As much as I wanted him to fight longer as well, he made a decision that made sense for him.

Its obvious you have something against him. But in all actuality, he said he would never fight without his father. I'm pretty sure if his father was still alive, he'd still be competing BUT people like you must find another path to try and discredit his legacy.
