Khabib hasn't fought in two years

I just want a good fight with Ferguson. The whole card looks good.

I think Ferguson beats any Khabib. Just a bad match. Ferguson will make him gas hard in a 5 round fight. But yes Khabib will have this excuse.

I'm afraid the pace Ferguson keeps will be too high for Khabib to endure for five rounds. Also Ferguson uses such a creative footwork that he's always ready to hit his opponent, but never quite there to be hit. Thomson and Barboza tried to counter him and both failed. It's possible that Khabib is just so much stronger and better in wrestling that he shuts Ferguson down... but I don't believe it until I see it.

ring rust is not real - Domin8er Cruz

Ferguson still got his chokes which will make dangerous for everytime Khabib try to catch Ferguson legs for a double. And on the ground Ferguson pace is crazy as well, non stop trying to sub and elbows. It's the most hard match up for Khabib, for sure.

Khabib will put Ferguson on his back like he did RDA. Castillo did it and almost got the nod over Ferguson, if not for Ferguson winning the first round, Castillo would've won.

His TDD honestly hasn't improved much since then. Thompson couldn't hold him down, Abel got him down and smashed his face in for a bit, Castillo controlled a grown man and if it was in prison DEFINITELY would've won.

He didn't controlled. Castilo did absolute nothing on the ground. He was just holding Ferguson, without doing nothing. Ferguson was doing everything on the ground and that's why he won. It was like Hendricks vs Lawler 2 but on the ground. I doubt Khabib will try to do that.

Ferguson was walking into counters all fight against Barboza. To his credit, he has a great chin, but he walked into a ton of flush counters in that fight. Not that the Barboza fight can tell us a lot of about the Khabib fight, though. Khabib is pretty clearly the best grappler in the LW division and we should expect that he'll get Ferguson down. The question becomes whether or not Ferguson can catch him in a submission, or will Ferguson's pace cause Khabib to gas leaving openings for Ferguson later in the fight?

Do people who aren't die-hard Khabib fans think he'll come back strong as ever like Cruz did?

If so, why?

Is he that special a fighter and not simply an especially strong grappling specialist with servicable striking?

Is it the same feeling when Jones tore into Bader and you somehow knew he was getting a titleshot and you're not even surprised they come in and tell him he's getting it?
