Khabib the Paper People's Champ! Let's see how long the UFC lets him hold the belt without fighting. Perhaps the UFC can put him up against a #10 dishwasher next so people know he deserves that title. Khabib, in my book, has Barbosa only. Nobody else he has fought has proven he is even worthy of a title shot. Since 2014 Khabib has fought 4 times in total. Maybe he will up his ante this time around. Conor or Tony will bring this pipe dream to an end soon enough.

Interesting dates he gave. 9 September probably means UFC 228. But the 9th is a Sunday. Either he misspoke and meant 8 September, or the UFC is doing a Sunday PPV which would suggest a European (like 204) or Aussie (like 193) card. Also, this event is just 1 week before the Russia debut.

October is UFC 229, the Vegas event, which is an obvious choice. However it's interesting that he didn't include the option of UFC 230 at MSG.

I need the UFC to put Tony and Khabib in cryostasis and announce their fight again. I don’t care who has to die in order for that fight to happen but it needs to happen. They both have the longest win streaks in the division. No supernatural force will keep them from facing each other for long. Conor can do coke and throw things at busses forever for all I care.

Khabib kind of annoys me. He only wants to fight like once or twice a year, he’s calling out GSP for his first title defense instead concentrating on his division, and he has trouble making the weight in his own division so much that I wouldn’t be surprised if one of his future title fights gets turned into a non title fight because he misses weight again.

He fought twice in the last 5 months and is eyeing another fight before the years end. He'll probably manage 2 a year like DJ if he stays uninjured
