technique smashes muscle all day long. Conor should consider shedding that muscle and return to FW because the added weight hasn’t done him any favors, even against string beans like Diaz. His style doesn’t really require the muscle he has. His grappling/wrestling will never be his strong suit. He should return to his strength

I think that if he had gotten stabbed there, he wouldn't be doing much grappling anymore. Or moving, for that matter.

It's weird because he never looked muscular to me, back included, but in those pictures they really do look unnaturally big.

Not saying it's photoshopped, but compared to how I've always seen him it looks photoshopped, I think how pale he is also hides the musculature a little bit

I dont believe Khabib is that big but I remember John Danaher on the Rogan podcast saying he met khabib after his fight with MJ when he and his team went to train with him. Danaher said that he was extremely impressed with his skills and also that he was 'Huge'.

Usually you see lats like that on swimmers or rowers.

So, those muscles are the ones that are engaged when your arms start extended and you pull something towards you. So it probably helps to explain why, once he gets his hands on you, you can't get out.

I used to be a swimmer, and when I'd grapple, after taking up martial arts, I'd clinch up and the leg would be right there. The single leg pickup from the clinch was kind of my bread and butter. I don't think most of my opponents thought I'd be able to just pick up their leg like that, often with just one arm.
