Who do you have to win this fight?

I think it is a pretty good fight between two good prospects, I dislike Lee and I thought he lost vs Escudero, his defense was porous and wasn't visible as Escudero seemed to tag him whenever he wanted.

Matthews however, won and finished a good and experienced fighter in Case - which I think is more than what Lee has done in his career so far.

I think this fight would be better after two years, but now I take Matthews by sub.

This is only next week) it isn't so far, the TUF Finale 23 is only next week, we get to see Choi, Matthews, JJ, Moraga and Brooks.

The only way he wins it is if he grapples and clinches with him a lot, I think Matthews is a better grappler than him right now.

Pulling for Matthews here. Don't think Lee is quite as good as he or others think tho there's bo doubt he's talented. Jake appeared to turn a corner against Case, who is better than Escudero and Santos imo.

I think this will be a good fight actually, Lee's fights aren't always exciting but I think Matthews will bring him out of his shell. He seems to have an issue with young, white men so Jake will get his fires burning and he'll wanna prove a point.

He looked pretty bad against Escudero lol, and gassed in the second which isn't too great for him at his age.

I think your absolutely right i feel Lee is definitely underrated and will take a UD .
But i would love to see the fellow Australian win this fight and keep climbing the ladder , even if he does lose he is very young and can still be a great fighter in the future

I was on the Kevin Lee hype train before it left the station. One knee from a BJJ master and I've hopped off. Well, to be fair, it was one KO followed by a terrible, sloppy performance against a fringe Top 25 LW in Escudero where he looked tentative and CHINNY and deserved to lose a decision and I hopped off.

Jake Matthews is a freakin' all around stud and most important of all he's tough as nails. I see him taking Lee out with strikes inside the distance. My only concern is how his grappling will hold up against Lee's excellent wrestling.
