Kentucky Derby...and Beyond?

Well, there goes our pick 3's. We got beat in the last strides by the #6 horse.

Race 7 might be like so for me;

#1 over #2, #3 over #2, #3, #4, #5 in six different trifecats, and then focus on the 12/1 longshot that's ranked 2nd in straight wagers.

I'm in with these trifectas for $1 each, as well as having the #3 Zealous Scholar across the board for $2/$5/$7.

Get hot @t6p!

Love the fact that the #3, #4, and #5 are all currently 10/1 or higher as of now.

#1, #5, #2 was the order. Just missed the trifecta.

Just went with the #6 horse here in race 8 to win and place since I have no idea what to do in this race beyond using that one.

I had planned to do some Delta Downs races again today, but it looks like that track may also come up sloppy since it's raining there currently. I'll pass on that idea and wait for Mahoning Valley tomorrow I guess.

Bad luck for us today @t6p. You were a foot away from hitting your 33/1 pick 3, and I was one position away from hitting a 100/1 trifecta.

For the races at Mahoning Valley tomorrow;

Holy crap, I just noticed this. In both of these races there was a very clear top ranked horse in each race who ended up winning, and in both races the 2nd to 5th place finishers all came from the horses who were ranked 2nd to 5th (not exact order, but hey). I knew that happened in the Mahoning Valley race, but just saw it happened last night too. So two days in a row. The race at Mahoning Valley on Wednesday was on my mind when I bet the super last night at Delta Downs, since I came close to playing the super the same way in both races.

Besides Gulfstream, I don't know too many tracks that offer up the hi-5 wagering. But if I ever get a similar situation at that track where there's a good sized field and yet one horse is way ahead of the others on the number I'm going for it. That shit would probably pay 1000/1 if it hits. At least. And it would only cost $24 to play.

Look what you've guys went and done to me @t6p and @BluntTrauma21. I've always been a rather conservative win, place, exacta player for the most part. Lately I've been going for tris, supers, and a couple of multi-race wagers. Now I'm planning to start shooting for some hi-5 payouts? Oh god.

Race 6 at Delta Downs, which is taking place in about 20 mins over a fast track;

==========

Race 6;

1- 362.6
2- 450.9 Pearl of Laredo 7/2 *****
3- 308.3
4- 425.8 Copper Lady 8/1 *
5- 335.1
6- 368.4
7- 395.6
8- 426.5 Color Me Pretty 3/1 ***
9- 433.1 Rockin Royalty 6/1 ****
10- 418.8 Ojos Corazon 6/1 *

==========

The #2 horse doesn't have quite the edge on the numbers as the one last night did, but I going to try that same strategy by keying that one on top in supers over the other four mentioned there.

#8 is a late scratch, so I have to cancel that super and just go for the trifecta instead by keying the #2 on top of the #4, #9, and #10. Playing for $2 each.

#10, #2, #4 was the finishing order. Just missed.

The trifecta only paid 41/1, so I don't feel too bad missing it there.

Bad luck for us today @t6p. You were a foot away from hitting your 33/1 pick 3, and I was one position away from hitting a 100/1 trifecta.

Just seeing the results. Kind of embarrassing, haha. I think I'll be passing if the track is sloppy from now on.

Have you ever seen A Bronx Tale? If so, you're probably familiar with the mush. Yep, that's me right now Shark.

I'll try one more with race 7 coming up at Delta Downs;

==========

1- 426.9 Players Gonna Play 30/1 *
2- 422.5
3- 433.7 Boogie Master 12/1 ***
4- 468.3 Chat Rat 4/1 ******
5- 468.3 A We Bit Flirty ******
6- 427.7 Our Smitty 6/1 **
8- 451.4 Gueydan 6/1 ****
9- 401.1
10- 422.0

==========

I'll try the super combos (24 in total) like so in that race;

#4,#5 / #4,#5 /#1,#3,#6,#8 / #1,#3,#6,#8

Ah, don't worry about it, T. A sloppy track does throw a wrinkle into things for sure, though, and can be more trouble figuring out than it's worth. At least until we get a good factor for them anyways.
