Kentucky Derby...and Beyond?

yup bought out of the Wilshire play and took Guick to win and place instead at 9/2. I'll take it. The formula is STRONG.

I'm doing the numbers for Aqueduct race 7 and 8 now. I can post them up when I'm done if either of you are interested, with the disclaimer that I'm not Sharkey certified as of yet, haha.

Thanks to the tote board, Guick who our number had 2nd by just a few pts, went off 4th but won going away. Archie, Fielding Gold, and Wilshire all went off at worse odds. The numbers worked out perfectly. Can't believe I didn't look at the tote earlier, would have been an L there if I didn't have it with me. Rookie mistake on my part.

That's the thing right? If we have the tote at our disposal we might as well use it and make the best of it. Right down to the last minute. You don't know how many times this past week I've wanted to get off a horse we bet because it was bet way down from it's morning line. But if I give it out in advance I have to play just because it wouldn't be right to do otherwise if you guys are betting it. Now that the 3 of us are all using the same system there's no need for that anymore. We'll all know what the numbers show and win or lose, we'll be playing the value.

Sand City owes me not one, but two. I bet her a couple of times towards the end of last year, and both times she gave up the lead late. Bitch.

oh yeah gonna be a lot easier to find value now. You're a good dude tho, went with shit odds even though you could've changed to better plays, not many ppl would do that.

Well, we were playing small and it was only a handful of races, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Plus I wasn't losing money betting those overbet types since they usually ran well for us. But still, it was irritating seeing our horses get bet down like that. I want to beat people betting low odds horses. Not join them.
