Groundbreaking (in the 1960s) 13-part BBC documentary series is on YouTube. It's a little dry, but the history of civilization before the 1960s hasn't changed, so the whole thing is still relevant and accurate.

Don't know how many Sherdoggers will be interested in a British guy talking about art for 13 episodes, but it's on there (for now) and a quality survey of the subject. Cheaper than a couple university courses anyway.

Hah, literally zero replies in half a year. Bumping this beeyatch in case anyone wants to enlighten themselves.

"I don't know how many sherdoggers will be interested in.."

Well now you do.

Lol @ "its a little dry"

*Jumps 24 minutes and 10 seconds into the video to glimpse if it's any good or not.*

Historian says "The Vikings where the last people of Europe to resist Christianity"

*Leaves thread. Salty and in anger.*

Baltic people are not real people, obviously.

BBC. dry. scone.

I prefer Sid Meier's civilization.

Thread is now better than ever, with the video blocked and the YouTube account that posted it terminated.
