I'm surprised the worlds most dangerous doesn't get any credit, he understood the game more than anybody.

I remember his great time as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter, a true leader who lead by example.

1st off, when bringing in coaches, who did he bring in for BJJ?? Nobody!! Why?? Because bringing in his body building buddy was way more beneficial, if you want to be a champion, you gotta have the physique like a champ.

Or end up like Matt Midland, get cut cuz your too damn ugly.

Next, what does he focus On, training?? Winning?? No, that stuff is for losers. He focuses is on his beef with Tito, he knows what people want to see, and what they pay for.

He show cases a brilliant hype job for a fight that would go on to be the highest selling PPV for some time.

He was the first pioneer to show the blue print on how to make it in this business.

Getting subbed by Gracie a cpl of times proved he didn’t understand shit.

This...

Royce subbed him, Ken tapped, Royce released, Ken shook his head & resumed the fight, Royce subbed him again.

Wrong, he understood how to market himself and a how to sell PPV's. The 2 most important aspects if you want to make it big in this sport.

stfu those fighters got ample training there were three stairs in the backyard...and plenty of trees to kick and punch!

What exactly brought Shamrock into todays' thoughts......??? <41>

My dad took me to stampede wrestling when i was a young kid and Owen Hart threw his opponent into the crowd then he got up on the top rope and jumped into the crowd himself. My dad had to jump out of his seat as Owen would have landed on him. He used my dads jean jacket and seat to beat the guy up with.

Great memory!!

RIP Owen

The fight didn't resume after Ken tapped. Royce only submitted him once, and then Ken beat his ass in the rematch.

It's very easy to hate on a pioneer - things were very different in the beginning of anything let alone mma and Ken didn't adapt but he's the reason I started watching NHB.

Don't be such a fucking loser TS
