Fook yeah!
He's not, yet. I just don't expect him to actually make such a quick turnaround 7 months after the Hooker fight.Where do you see where Allen is out?

I was kinda hoping for more for Allen (Kattar's great, but off a loss, while Allen is now 9-0 in the UFC), but at the same time, I guess if they push the whole narrative about how Kattar probably should have beaten Emmett, then it's big. I mean, it's most likely if Kattar did get the nod, he'd probably have been next.
Damn shame no one will. I had a pretty bad idea for fixing the booking, but doesn't really matter now.Kattar is the only ranked guy willing to fight these up and comers. That's really what it comes down to.
If Allen is fighting Kattar, I gotta think Emmett vs Yair is the only thing remaining. What I'd love to see as another backup is Holloway vs Zombie (even if that doesn't really serve either of them, and could end up killing off the Zombie)thats a good one.
What they do with FW title they need to figure out. is yair next, is Volk going to LW, is Emmett/yair interim planned? If Volk is healthy enough to be a backup for Charles/Islam he should be defending his title vs Yair or Emmett soon instead. He's got challengers, the div isnt cleaned out and I kind of am not interested in him at LW yet.
He deserves them, he's a 5 round fighter.BTW... 5th headline in a row for Kattar.
Great fight. Looking forward to this main event. Allen has arrived.
I thought decision at first too but seeing the way he hurt Yussuf and Hooker has me thinking his fire power and timing might be enough here to be the first guy to finish Kattar. If Allen's power can't hurt Kattar like the Emmet fight I think Kattar steam rolls him, Yussuf was having tons of success but would lose rounds by getting hurt. If this becomes a technical fight like Kattar likes I think Allen struggles and gets picked apart. Kattar has been improving all aspects of his game but his defence still needs lots of improvement. It's a great fight. I expect it to be very competitive. I'll side with Kattar, but I still worry about how he'll deal with a southpaw. I just hope he remembers that he's at his best when he's pressuring and mixing things up. If he triest to just coounter box, then the fight could easily slip away from him. It will be interesting to see Allen's cardio tested, too.
I'd be shocked if Allen finishes kattar with strikes. Allen has been a decision machine in the UFC and his only tko is a standing tko against the zombified version of dan hooker. Meanwhile Kattar has fought most of the best strikers and the heaviest hitters in that division and has never been dropped.
