From what they said at the weigh-ins this will be her second fight in a row out of ATT as opposed to training in Poland. Last time she finished Herrig and broke a 0-5 losing streak. She's a striker but has been training BJJ heavily at ATT and got her first submission her last fight.

According to wiki she has a thyroid problem since 2019, went vegan, moved to Florida to train at ATT and considers the whole thing a fresh start.

She's 37 but damn, if she beats Juarez do you think she could make a late career come back? A ranked opponent like Hill or Pinheiro next?

She's at about even odds tonight but +550 to win by sub so hey

Beating Juarez doesn't mean a comeback for me. They probably looked at who the oldest strawweight was and matched them up.

Understandable but I'm leaning the other direction. Juarez is also 37 and 1-2 of her last 3 with both losses by submission. I'm assuming Karolina's game plan is to take this to the ground & finish it there via her recent intensive bjj training, or maybe get a 29-28 decision with the help of some take downs.

Might be wishful thinking on my part but soon we shal see

I think it's that the women's divisions are a little shallow so people resort to who is hot and who is not. Men in MMA get it too but the opposite front where they want them to lose. Odds are many on sherdog are very overweight with pigs for wives. At least the women in MMA are in shape.
 
Just before her last fight with Felice she posted pics online and I honestly didn’t know who the pics were of. Those brunette pics with her in a red bikini.

I honestly don’t know why she is still fighting. 5 losses in a row. And you beat Felice, who retired on the spot. KK is 37 years old. I thought she might want to have kids.

Money, relative fame, heart of a life long athlete? I honestly don’t know.



Absolutely nothing against her. She seems like a nice lady. But she is not UFC champion material, and never has been.

She’s an underdog against a woman even older than herself. And whom is ranked 20 spots behind her globally.

She's also written about experiencing severe depression. Needs to get out of the game. Don't know what's in it for her at this point.
 
Forever a KK fan, but I don't like this fight.

The win over Felice was nice and all, but that should have been it for her. Felice was never that good, hadn't fought in years, and was just there to get one final paycheck before retiring. You could tell Felice put no effort in. She looked considerably worse than she ever did. They should have both retired that night.

Silvana is young and hits hard as fuck. I don't think a lot of people realize just how much power this girl has for a SW.

KK is going to have to go through the fire just to get to Silvana and into the clinch where she does have a chance of winning.
 
Strange how some of you shergins look at her and the first thing you think of is a guy
