I know this being a mixed martial arts site there are few who really care much for traditional Karate schools, but my guess is, like myself, many of us may have been turned on to martial arts by starting at such a school as a child.
I was saddened to learn today that my former instructor died this last weekend at the young age of 43 of a heart attack. I am using this thread to acknowlage the impact his teaching had on my life, and the true goodness of this man. His name was Stuart Quan, he taught karate for many years in Fresno CA, and he was a good human being.
If anyone here ever had an experience with this man that they would like to share I would appriciate the comments.
Thank You Sensei Stuart. RIP
