Kanye West has been red pilled

Must have a new album coming out or something and he is looking for publicity

He has escaped the mind plantation created by the democrats . Will others follow though?

How many leftists have called him a Uncle Tom so far ?

I get your point, unfortunately that’s exactly what the left want you to do. This is a clip from a message sent to John Podesta, revealed by Wikileaks.

“And as I've mentioned, we've all been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry. The unawareness remains strong but compliance is obviously fading rapidly.”

Productive citizens on both sides have a responsibility to pay attention.

Pay attention to what, though?

Will I be the wiser if I listen to Sean Hannity propagandize on how the left is selling my future?

That may be the intent of the left, in fact it is the long term intent of the left.

Yet the right is not selling facts or a strong case for traditional American society, the right is selling another, less convincing form of fiction.

Do vote...

Do read about history, society, and follow the media... but, who are you following?

If these things are true there may be a problem:

1. I listen directly to the White House.

The barely filtered ego of the President is not a great way to become informed.

2. I listen to talk radio.

Everyone is angry, anger is the opposite of reflection and consideration.

3. I am in a hurry, so I only watch cable news.

News that is further politicized, turned into entertainment, and wants to influence our base desires for money and votes.

1, 2, and 3 are all trying to take advantage of us, and it is a very sad thing.

Christian Black Americans will save America IMO. Or be a big part of the saving of America.

Perhaps, but if we treat them all as a homogeneous group and belittle the struggle of what they see as their people instead of opening our minds and hearts to their ideas, Christians will lose out to other voices.

He has escaped the mind plantation created by the democrats . Will others follow though?

Perhaps, a case in point.

If we are talking about "blacks," as leaving plantations, are happy to see them riled up, and are eager for them to "call out" Kayne as a Tom...

I am not an expert on ethnic relations, but if I was in the words of James Brown "Black and Proud," unless I am a very humble fellow I am going to see past the love of Jesus to people who do not care about me and my life, just say so on the internet.

That might not be fair, but that has been the case, right?

How many votes do "black" Americans give to national Republican candidates? I think it is easier to fix our problems in communication, rather than ask them to leave a "plantation."

He isn't being crazy or not giving a f.
He is speaking the truth.

People today are really stretching with the race card and PC stuff.

Sadly you’re right, much of the media on both sides are feeding stupid people propaganda.

Which is why it’s especially important for intelligent people to pay attention, weed out the garbage, and participate in steering this ship we call America.

Says the guy who gets his news from Faux.

You haven't provided any examples here of anyone actually being persuaded by Kanye's opinions, yet you claimed he is being "excused into enlightened ranks". But you are attacking it. At the same time, CNN is having Jay-Z talk about politics, for some reason, and treating it like it is meaningful in some way. Basically you are attacking ... people on the right for the same thing that got legitimized by a reputable left-leaning news organization.

Then again, you are as bad of a shill as there is here so I'm not surprised you are excusing one side while attacking the other. Keep fighting the good fight comrade.

Of course it flies if it is what is happening. Just because Democrats couldn't get a real candidate or know how to get people to vote is irrelevant to their tactics and how they compare to the Republican's. Parading Jay-Z out onto the campaign is laughable if anyone factored in his opinion in their vote. Just as it is laughable to take political guidance in Kanye.
I don't know why you have such a hate on for Jay-Z as it relates to this situation, but he's considered a legitimate voice in political activism and some are calling for him to run for office.
What makes him more qualified to talk politics than Kanye? Kanye at least helped usher in an era of rap that wasn't purely focused on drug dealing or murdering people.

I was literally responding to someone claiming that Kanye shouldn't be taken seriously and was being "excused into enlightened ranks" because of his political views pointing out that it happens on both sides.

Politics is nothing but hypocrisy. Both sides love to prop up their out of touch celebrities whether it is Beyoncé or Kid Rock as if it means anything. No one should care what Jay-Z thinks about politics, no one should care what Kanye thinks about politics, and "serious" news organizations shouldn't be propping them up like they are some sort of authority.

The left should be celebrating Kanyes choice....seems like a good loss from their ranks.

Lol.

That is the first thing I thought of when I saw all these Republicans suddenly saying, "Kanye just speaks the TRUTH!" Kanye has been off the rails for like a decade straight.

Once again, a case of people accusing somebody of being crazy and delusional when they disagree with him, then saying he's a truth speaker when they agree.

It kind of reminds me of when Angelina Jolie started adopted kids and married Brad Pitt, and everybody just pretended she was suddenly a humanitarian worthy of political power, instead of a druggie who mouth kisses her brother and wears Billy Bob Thornton's blood in a vile around her neck.

Yeah the right wing are very open minded lol

atm it's not elements from the right who are at full-on war with the freedom of speech and thought, which is the actual relevant issue here

Hope that clears up any confusion for you

Have you ever had shoes without shoe strings?

If you can't make a good rhyme just call laces shoe strings

What a genius

Inb4 Kanye gets called a house negro. Who care what a controversial star has to say before releasing a new cd...
