It's the Pereira x Hill one for me, Gaethje being incredibly limited/compromised the entire previous 24 minutes or so due to a brutal eye poke took away from the KO for me, not that it still wasn't spectacular, but taking the context into consideration I def prefer the Pereira KO, especially when you consider the build up as well

The one KO that had me legitimately drop my jaw this year was Holloway/Gaethje, that’s gotta be KO of the past five years. Joe Rogan said it best, if you put that in a movie people would tell you to fuck off because it’s so cheesy and would never happen.

The fight is overrated. But the KO was absolutely something out of a movie.

There was many fantastic KOs this year

Depends what you favor (level of competition vs straight brutalness vs dramatic timing)

Max was pretty insane … 1 second left in a 5 round BMF fight has to be up there

But there was certainly some vicious more gnarly KOs in lower calibre fights

I loved Topuria's KO over Holloway.

But the clear winner for me is Doctor Ming head kicking that lanky girl so hard that she had to get stretchered out and didn't know where she was until the ambulance was halfway to the hospital.

it's either Max over Gaethje or Topuria over Max. no way is it any of Pereira's KOs, all of his KOs were vs guys everyone expected him to KO. Max KO'd a guy almost everyone thought he was going to lose against and Topuria KO'd the unKOable. not to mention Max KO'd Gaethje in a most ridiculously movie-esque way, and Topuria unloaded a brutal combination to KO Max, it wasn't just 1 "lucky" punch.
