Media Kamaru Usman Is "About A Year Away" From Knee Replacement According To Joe Rogan

Yeah its probably true, Its been rumored for a while by various people that Usmans knees are fucked. Think he only has a few fights before hes forced to retire. Maybe 2 or 3? Its probably the reason why he talking about moving up in weight soon to.
His plan probably is Leon then Khamzat then MW (if Izzy isnt champ anymore) or LHW.
I do think his knees are bad but not as bad as we think. Aint no way a guy with a knee that bad could maintain this type of cardio for years.

Usman is playing 4D chess while we're playing checkers. His knees are fine, he just managed to build up a credible excuse over the years so when he finally loses, he can direct us towards said excuse and say his knees finally caved in. Don't buy it, he just has stick legs.

Is it just me, but does he have little spindle legs in the bottom gif.

Usman has tiny legs, thats how he makes the weight. Crazy how people seem to always miss that when they talk about how huge he is for WW. Yeah he has a huge torso, but featherweight legs.

Ah the Rogan post. I forgot Rogan is an MD with a specialization in Orthopedics. He just of got that after his studies in Epidemiology.

I didn’t know joe was a doctor

I mean it's common knowledge that the guys knees are fucked. It doesn't take half a decade of medical school to know that the next step is surgery.

Didn’t Joe have him on the podcast multiple times and talk about knees? Pretty sure it’s just information Usman has already put out on Joe’s platform .

Pretty sure this. Usman himself has mentioned it on Rogans podcast. Overall, it might be based in truth but Usman himself could have embellished as well. Like backs, knees are a mystery in some respects. I’ve had microfracture surgery on both knees. Sometimes they are great for months, sometimes any form of hard physical work causes them to balloon

I think that first fight with Masvidal was a clear sign that his knees are pretty much shot. Leon has a very good chance of winning this fight.

he's not touching his knees until he retires its only a problem for training but i think he can keep his skills intact and take painkillers or something to numb the pain during fights and go all out. my knees are a mess too and i dont wrestle that much just from kickboxing i cant imaging how his knees must be

This is one of the most random lies being peddled in MMA.
