He (Kamaru Usman) is about a year away from a knee replacement

Joe Rogan (9 Months Ago)

Will Usman's notoriously shitty knees finally give out tomorrow or will Leon continue the trend of Usman opponents not going after the most sensitive part of his body?

I don't get it, doesn't he have to walk backwards down stairs? and on grass instead of concrete? Yet also

Jesus. Didn’t know they were THAT bad. Hopefully Rogan is exaggerating as usual.

Yeah its probably true, Its been rumored for a while by various people that Usmans knees are fucked. Think he only has a few fights before hes forced to retire. Maybe 2 or 3? Its probably the reason why he talking about moving up in weight soon to.

Joe Rogan is a great commentator but he's a notably gullible person. The amount of hilarious bullshit this guy has fallen for is over the top.

You should never let someone who's said the word 'Bigfoot' more than 1,000 times tell you jack shit about anything.

Did y'all not see Masvidal 2? I'm not saying Usman doesn't have knee issues but dude must be doing the Knees Over Toes program because he was taking quite a few leg kicks in round 1 unchecked. Not that Mas is a prolific leg kicker, but he obviously was throwing with intent.

I did actually think the way he climbed the stairs at the weigh in was super weird for an athlete.

I don't think a wear and tear knee injury is necessarily going to be impacted particularly by leg kicks anyway. But it could impact the speed he can move during the fight.

It's not like Usman relies on Wonderboy type of movement in the octagon anyway. But in the second Colby fight his cardio was way worse than normally, so he may really have knee issues that impact his training big time.

I'm starting to think Edwards could pull it off, I may just put some money on him. But hell, if he does pull it off, won't he be an obnoxious, bitchy, inactive champion...

Yeah I considered it too just by the way he was moving around. I even had a quick look at the last weigh in to see if there was a difference but they didn't have stairs for that one lol.

Ignore everything Rogan says he's a fucking moron that just lies all the time. Ironically ppl are twice as dumb as him to listen to his podcasts and take everything he says more seriously than they do the Bible.

Most wrestlers at usmans age have knee hip and or back problems.
That’s why you see so many wrestlers abandon their wrestling and turn strikers.
