K1Anoop Interviews

Good stuff, I'll check out the full podcast. Thanks for the interview.

The moment I step in [Glory FW class] I will destroy the whole category

Its like three guys (incl. Adamchuk who's a gym mate and probably off the hit list) so I can believe that. Amrani would be the natural matchup stylistically and background wise. Would like to see that fight. Ilias might even be the favorite given their respective career trajectories.

Thanks. Aiming to get more interviews up on here from now on.

Bulaid vs Amrani would be nuts! Varga would also make a very interesting opponent too who, will also be my guest on the Kickboxingplanet podcast, in the coming weeks before the rematch with Adamchuck;)

Interesting. He mentioned fighting for K-1 Japan in November. I wonder what weightclass it would be for.

He was saying that he had trouble with the weightcut down to 58kg so you'd think it'll be for the 60kg GP, but that's in September. The other option is for him to get down to 55kg if he can manage the cut. The Japan tourney for that is in November and the World tourney in Jan 2016 so it'll make sense if they're checking out his performance in a superfight in November with the intent of roping him into the World tourney if he wins. Would be cool to see him fight Takeru in Nov.

I was covering DUEL6 in Newcastle for MMA PLUS (April 2016) and the write-up including the results are in the link above. The promotion is, DUEL Fight Sports and for a regional show they sure do deliver competitive match-ups for their kickboxing (K1 rules) bouts.

It was a really good night and there was something special about the event that night which, resulted in that spectacular spinning kick KO by Fred Cordeiro that went viral and was even reported on by the Fox Sports Network. Fred Cordeiro is a damn good kickboxer and went the distance in RISE Japan against, Tenshin Nasukawa.

One to watch out for from that night is a young man by the name of, Cody Ditchev - yes, he's Dakota Ditcheva's brother and he's good, real good.

Add Simon Marcus cousin as the corner man and it would be the most annoying team to ever hit kickboxing

I watched the full podcast, nice work Anoop and welcome to our community! Can you ask Varga if he has plans to sign with K-1 or to fight Qiu Jianliang in China?

i think Yamazaki is going to stop him on the semi finals

Yamazaki is coming as a train and i really thing that only Kaew can stop him if he comes to the finals,if Kaew cant do it,Yamazaki is going to be the champ for sure
