K1 and Muay Thai shorts difference?

Hey all,

I know I should know this, but I am in the custom short designer for KOMBAT, and was wondering the difference between K1 and Muay Thai shorts...

Is it that K1 shorts are straight leg and muay thai legs are slightly flared out?

I don't want to order the wrong thing lol.

Again i SHOULD KNOW THIS but I have only worn Muay Thai shorts, and K1 seems to be a style...

K1 shorts just look like the same cut as boxing trunks from what I've seen online, and so, are longer.

OK I figured. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

K-1 shorts are longer, not as flared, and tend to have shallower crotches than MT shorts. Also, they tend to have much higher slits in comparison to boxing trunks. I have a pair of Top King K-1 shorts; they're nice when the weather's cooler or if you don't like showing too much thigh.

Shallow crotch is a mono and I never mind showing the thighs hahaha.

Although Maybe I will buy a pair of K1 Kombats. They are cheap enough.
