Let's philosophise the pathways if Dustin wins the title.

Only fight that makes sense for Dustin after conquering the belt is to fight Conor for another big pay day. Conor will be electrifying in the build up and promote the living life of that fight. If I'm correct, he only has one fight left in his contract. It has the potential to be the biggest PPV ever.

It doesn't add anything to Dustin's legacy to beat Justin for the second time. Additionally, Dustin can't defeat Islam, if Islam gets the TS.

If Dustin vacates the title, Justin has to face Islam for the vacant championship.

Dustin is a black belt in BJJ. He actually had Khabib on a guillotine and was the only one who one could say "he could have won that fight if he locked that properly"

I do think that any fighter can catch any opponent at any given fight.

In a perfect world I think UFC would make Justin fight Islam for the next TS.
