Herbert

Comp% 66.4 DM 72.0
td/int 26/13 DM 31/8
Yards 3727 DM 4394
Passer Rating 94.1 DM 113.5
QBR 60.8 DM 77.2

It's going to be cold and a west coast team in an Eastern time zone

It's 37 back there as I type this.

Definately looks like Pats 28 Chargers 17 to me.

Looking at the weather this weekend in Patsville, rain.......hmmmm?

But only in the 40;s, so not too cold.

Herbert has the worst protection in the league. All he needed was one pro-bowler to go 5-1. Show me what Maye can do behind that line and on that day I'll form an opinion.

Maye has no Pro Bowlers.

Maye also had better NCAA numbers than Herbert, so...................

I'm aware. He also doesn't have the OL with the worst pass block winrate and 2nd worst run block winrate in the league; the 2nd worst pressure rate allowed; the 3rd worst pressure rate allowed when not blitzed; the 3rd worst rushing yards won before contact. Maye did have a line that gave him the second most time to throw in the league. Yet he still took the most sacks in the entire league despite strong protection.

Maye had a great year, I'm not trying to take that away from him, and he's young, so it's only silver linings, but let's not pretend he had a great year throwing for the Browns or the Chargers.

The eyeball test can't be ignored, watcing Maye play at NC and now in the NFL you can see........IT. The young guy is accurate regardless of who he plays. And he can run and does that smartly.

A 113 passer rating, who does that, in their second season?

Watching the young guy vs that Texan D, now that's entertainment.

I would like to see them Pony up and use both backs together.

Comparing Marino and Stafford to Herbert, are you serious?
Absolutely. It's frustrating how it refutes your moronic argument and makes you look stupid, isn't it? Btw, Russ Wilson is 1-4 in his last four trips to the playoffs.

Stafford had played 11 seasons in the NFL when the 2019 season ended, and his playoff record stood at 0-3. Was that Stafford's fault, or the fact he played on one of the three biggest historic bum franchises in the NFL? Hmm, it's almost like context matters.

Would it be better if Herbert was 0-0? He came on as a rookie in 2020 to a team that was 5-11 the previous season, and in only his second year, he already took them to the playoffs. He's made it to the playoffs in 3 of 5 seasons counting back to that sophomore season.

If you put that loss on him you are a blind imbecile who doesn't understand the sport.

Russell Wilson on a whole other level than Herbert, and if you knew the sport you'd know that.

So you put Herbert where on todays wrung of the ladder, yep, curious.
