Very solid list there, all great just did it differently.

Barry has gotta be the best......did I really just see that.....RB ever, very special.

His Oklahoma State days were outrageous, hell he returned kickoffs.

The only reason I could include Payton was because I grew up in Chicago. Otherwise I was 8 when he retired and probably would have zero recollection of him. When I really got into football Neal Anderson was RB1 in Chicago.

What all the fuss is about....

He was out of Jackson State making him the best HBCU RB all time.

Yeah I vaguely remember watching him. I was in first grade when the Bears won the Superbowl and my memories of him were mostly from that season.

Kinda funny that my first memories of a great running back was also a Bear

Comparing Marino and Stafford to Herbert, are you serious?
Absolutely. It's frustrating how it refutes your moronic argument and makes you look stupid, isn't it? Btw, Russ Wilson is 1-4 in his last four trips to the playoffs.

Stafford had played 11 seasons in the NFL when the 2019 season ended, and his playoff record stood at 0-3. Was that Stafford's fault, or the fact he played on one of the three biggest historic bum franchises in the NFL? Hmm, it's almost like context matters.

Would it be better if Herbert was 0-0? He came on as a rookie in 2020 to a team that was 5-11 the previous season, and in only his second year, he already took them to the playoffs. He's made it to the playoffs in 3 of 5 seasons counting back to that sophomore season.

If you put that loss on him you are a blind imbecile who doesn't understand the sport.

Russell Wilson on a whole other level than Herbert, and if you knew the sport you'd know that.

So you put Herbert where on todays wrung of the ladder, yep, curious.

Jesus, your hard on for how fast someone once ran 100m on a track is pathetic. Do you dream of getting spit roasted by a couple of sprinters nightly? I hope you thank them afterwards, soy boy.

Whilst not irrelevant, it means very little in real sports like Euro football and rugby.

Your ignorant ass will just ignore this fact as always.

I think he's just autistic tbf. I think he's pretty old so probably never got diagnosed.

I don't mean that as an insult to the guy either, my niece is autistic but obsessing over something as much as he does over this is classic autism

How about x footballer x sprinter who is into the history of things that interest me?

Autistic hahahahaha~~~~~~~~

My point that keeps getting missed..

The NFL is full of sprinters, basketballers, hurdlers, long jumpers, guys who throw things, wrestlers, ATHLETES..............we don't see that in rugby, soccer.

The better ATHLETES play football.

Because pure speed translates to NFL better than any other sport. Correct me if I'm wrong but a lot of the fastest players are receivers and that position basically requires you to be fast as fuck, be able to remember where you're supposed to go on a play and to be good at catching.

Roger Federer would have been terrible at football but I don't think any of these guys are beating him at tennis .

Not talking tennis am talking rugby a game played by smaller and slower athletes than what we see on an NFL field.

There has been a lot of tracksters at running back and cornerbacks also.

I ran track in the off season, pretty much just staying in shape for the next football season. Who does that in rugby/soccer?

Nobody because the off season is only a couple of months so players only get maybe three weeks holiday at the end of every season before they go back into pre season training camp for the next season. Sometimes not even that if there's an international tournament during the summer.

Ok, I don't follow the game.

My point is what kind of athletes play pro football compared to other sports. That size with speed a real big deal.
