I have been a long time fan of his and would love to see him join the UFC in the near future , I believe he has the talent and potential to be a future UFC champ and IMO he deserves PPV match ups and more exposure then he is getting at WSOF . 15-0 record should be rewarded don't you think ?

I don't see him having much trouble defending his title against Brian Foster .

Dream match : Gaethje vs McGregor

My dream match ups for
Gaethje are poirier, chandler
& alvarez.

Big gaethje fan. Love his style.
I always respect wrestlers who
aren't afraid to strike & strike
hard while mixing in aggressive
wrestling. Though he has the
skill & pedigree to hold all of
his opponents down & coast
to decisions in lower orgs; he
goes out there, masters his
craft & makes statements
against tough dudes. Rare breed

If that is your dream match up, you need to dream bigger.

I don't know if he would ever be UFC champ, but I definitly think he would win more than he would lose in the UFC.

He would probably be a top 10 guy but I don't see him getting the belt if he keeps fighting the way he fought Palomino twice (having almost zero head movement and mostly blocking punches with his face).

He is still a little too crude standing to get too far in the UFC, he is another wrestler in love with his power but lacking the refinement to deliver it against the best strikers. The threat of a takedown helps make him effective but against the best fighters I think he comes up short.

Is it time for the weekly “Gaethje in the UFC” thread already?

I think most would agree he’s fun to watch, but he gets hit a BUNCH. I see a move going similar to how Lombard’s went. Not a flop, but the step up in competition would be obvious.

He's good enough, I think. Personally, I'd put him above Gil and Eddie A. I think Justin is the real deal.
