You can’t be more incorrect. Conor is fighting a guy he already beat easily and figured out already who stylistically is a much easier fight than Gaethje. Conor wanted Porier for a reason.

Dustin is a tougher fight than Justin. Better boxer, more likely to go for takedowns, better subs, better cardio. As a Conor fan, I'd feel much more confident of a Conor win heading into a Justin fight than I do this Dustin fight.

I’m a gaethje fan but his fight against khabib only showed that he is not as good as Dustin or Conor. While I’d enjoy gaethje vs Conor, Dustin is a tougher fight.

They fought 6 years ago in a different weight class. Dustin is higher ranked and finished Gaethje, and is coming off a win.

Poirier is more proven than Gaethje imo, beat Gaethje and beat another dude that beat Gaethje. Cerrone was old and fought like a total idiot in the Gaethje fight and I don't think that was the best version of Tony in there against Gaethje either.

Dustin is coming off of yet another war with Hooker. The mcgregor camp wisely picked Dustin because the timing makes sense and Conor has alrdy beaten him.

Last time I checked Dustin finished Justin, has more top 10 wins, and lasted longer against Khabib. Not sure how he’s the easier of the two fights. Even stylistically I don’t see Dustin being easier.
