I was going to the bathroom in my apartment when I overheard two men shouting. The only phrase I caught was, "Let's do this you fucking bitch."

So I casually headed downstairs and to the street and lo and behold a 20 something punk kid driving a nice truck I can only assume his parents bought him is in the face of a 60 something Mexican man who was driving a gardening truck. I couldn't quite get the deets, but from the sounds of it, the Mexican dude did some driving maneuver that had pissed off the kid.

Now standing there witnessing this up close the Mexican man said, "so you chased me all the way here honking your horn because of that."

Kid: "That's right bitch and I'll beat your fucking ass if you don't get back in the truck."

Mexican dude: "Well, I hope I wrecked your day you little puss" whilst getting back in his truck.

Kid: "Oh you didn't you little bitch [clearly is favorite go to phrase], but I know I wrecked yours" whilst getting back in his truck.

Ever witness a road rage incident that went further?

ya i bashed some guys head in , cops showed up at my door. Lesson learned. Never worth it.

I saw a guy walk out in front of a car as he was coming out of a mcdonalds one day. The car slammed on the breaks and beeped the guy and he calmy waved them on in an apologetic manner.

As the car got to the lights about 20m away and stopped the driver roller down the window and yelled something.

The guy who came out of mcdonalds threw his "food" on the ground and delivered a running superman punch through the drivers side window, then turned and walked away while yelling expletives. It was very random.

Come to think of it, ive seen a lot of car vs pedestrian encounters, but no actual car vs car road rage.

Ive seen a guy walk out onto a road to block a car off and then throw a glass bottle at the windscreen and then get himself run over. That was silly.

Never witnessed anything like that on the road. The kid sounds like a hothead looking for trouble. Chasing someone down like that, that's how you get yourself shot these days.

Sounds like a simple bird flip would've sufficed.

I also was the victim of a deliberate, drug-fueled hit and run incident once.

Again, it has nothing to do with what i assume road rage really is, which is people getting upset about how others drive, but its a good story.

I worked for jimmy johns, a guy followed me back from a delivery and tried to fight me inside the store. I basically whipped his ass to the ground took his back and half nelson pinned his face to the floor till the cops showed up. He kept saying "man, you crazy". He was athletic and explosive and had a warrent for his arrest on the other side of the state. They let him go...

Saw that almost happen when i was a kid. Some guy followed us and got out of his car with a bat. He didnt seem so agressive when he found out my dad had a gun on him though. Was especially stupid because we were in wyoming, like half of people have a gun on them.

Some guys are just dick drivers driving shitty cars. I had one guy knowingly swerve into my lane even though there wasn't any room. I had to go into oncoming traffic to avoid him. I pulled up on the left of him at a stop light and dude was looking all the way to his right side to avoid eye contact. I merrily went on my way knowing I won the all-important staring contest.

If I were still a young hot head, I probably would have got out of my car and started bashing his window with my fist. Then I probably would have a broken hand and jail time.

I witness it almost every day in Chicago.. and like another person said, a lot of times it's between pedestrians or cyclist and drivers.

try living in socal land of the lifted truck bros, and guidos in bmw's.

I was enjoying a beer on a restaurant patio one nice summer day when I saw a small accident across the road. One car barely bumped into another car from behind. The guy who got hit was a little guy (LG) with a big attitude. He was driving some mid-level sports car that his dad probably bought him. The other guy was a big dude (BD) who seemed genuinely apologetic and he stayed calm and rational throughout the whole thing.

So LG jumps out of his car and he's freaking out. He's yelling and waving his arms and basically making a huge scene. The fact that BD remains so calm only angers LG further. So he goes and grabs a club from his car and start waving it around. BD calmly explains that he should put his weapon away and that attacking with it would be a very bad idea. But LG doesn't listen and takes a swing.

BD doesnt even flinch. He just catches the club mid-swing and takes it away. Then he knocks out LG with one punch. Boom, out cold. Police arrived just in time to see BD standing over LG with a club in his hand, so that didn't look good. Luckily there were lots of witnesses though, and I'm pretty sure things got sorted out.

20's...nuff said, glad I lived through them, the stupid shit..

I was putting groceries in my car when I noticed a conversation was getting really heated. An old woman and this African American guy just started yelling at each other. One of their cars had bumped the other earlier, not sure which. It got really heated and I started walking over to ask them to calm down and all of a sudden the old woman drops the n-bomb.

You could cut the tension with a knife, and crowd was starting to gather. I got between them and said hey come on now lets not a fender bender get out of hand. I asked if they had exchanged insurance information and they said yes and hurled some more insults at each other. I can't remember what, but something about that old lady struck me that she was off her rocker. I asked the guy if he didn't need any more information if he could just get in his car and go telling him they aren't going to resolve who's at fault it will have to be between their insurance companies. Luckily he was willing and he got in his car and they said some more shit and flipped each other off but he drove away.

Breathed a sigh of relief and felt good to have diffused the situation. I don't think the crowd that was gathering was taking too kindly that old lady after what she said and I really didn't want to be in the middle of it. But everyone seemed to go back to whatever they were doing.

Check out the last 15 seconds of the YouTube video in my signature for some serious road rage.

Some dude cut me off so I honked my horn. He flipped me the bird, so I blew him a kiss. That set him off I guess because he started following me. I got sick of it, so I pulled over and got out of my car. He slowed down, but kept driving.

Nothing came of it, but it definitely wasn't the smartest move on my part. All in all, it's a non story I suppose.

I think i told this once, but i was on my phone at a red light for work (yeah, i know i shouldn't have been). I almost always have my windows down. This younger girl stopped next to me yelled something at me, i couldn't make it out, but knew by tone it was something goofy to make the other people in her car laugh. I ignored it.

Then the light turned green, i got off the phone and she yelled "you shouldn't smoke!"

I dunno why i was so irritated by everything, but i stuck my arm all the way out the window holding the cigarette so they could see it, waited like 5 seconds, and then nonchalantly flicked it right onto her front windshield.

Her car took a left exit and was like 100 feet away. We both had red lights again. I heard everyone in her car screaming at me. I just looked at them and laughed.

This is a happy story

Road raging is so stupid . Like you totally have to let the other guy know he's a shitty driver because you're such a good driver . Like get over yourselves and move along . I never give the finger or yell profanities or press my brakes . I usually move to another lane if possible and move on with my life .
