Just watched Reem Vs Hunt......

not really a fan of Dad-bod Reem. He's fighting smart, but i still prefer kill-or-be-killed Uberreem

But dad bod Reem seems to have found his middle ground. Of course, it's a 1 fight sample size, but that's all we got to go by. I really really like dad bod Reem, no homo.

Yeah, he's always a KTFO candidate waiting to happen, but if THAT Reem shows up, I can't think of a single HW that can beat him. Cain has a good chance, but he's hittable as hell, and Reem is super deadly in the clinch. Plus the rust, and injury factor. And Stipe's not surviving against this version of Reem, imo.
Stipe beat him 6 months ago, it's the same Overeem its just Stipe is a beter than Hunt

wtf is this shit? Reem ko'd JDS LOL

It was just an example he chose, hell he could've said Mark Hunt as well. Reem TKO'd/KO'd both of them but that doesn't make his chin as good as theirs. Overeem has one of the softest chins at HW and JDS/Hunt/Nelson/Rothwell have some of the best.

And Reem almost had him out, so in a rematch, he could for sure finish the job. Reem took Hunt's best shots, and KO'd an iron chin Hunt, in a 3 round demolition. It wasn't just some at round flash KO. If you weren't impressed with his win last Saturday, you're a new type of fan. One of those fans that doesn't get impressed easily lol.

He was impressive, against a one dimensional fading 42 year old Mark Hunt who's been through war after war and also had a broken leg. Stipe got dropped sure but he wasn't close to being out and as soon as he took Overeem down he ko'd him within seconds

if Reem comes in heavy with added muscle mass like last night he has a better shot at beating Stipe, his chin is clearly better when he has bulked up neck/trap muscles to help protect it.

I was really impressed he didn't get TKOd once Hunt started landing the elbows, smaller Reem would have went down from those for sure. Reem will always be chinny but the added muscle really helps him hide it somewhat.

He almost finished Stipe, give him another chance. I'd say title shot with one more win.

Ok, we'll see when it's time.

I think Werdum/Rothwell winner is #1 contender, then Reem v. Black Beast or the Ngannu-whatever-guy for next #1 contender.

I've been a long-time fan of the Reem, but he needs to stop that turn and run shit. Anyone faster than Hunt is going to catch and drop him like Stipe did.

Or in a rematch, Stipe will be on his guard when resetting to avoid being surprised again by that punch that knocked him down.

if Reem comes in heavy with added muscle mass like last night he has a better shot at beating Stipe, his chin is clearly better when he has bulked up neck/trap muscles to help protect it.

Or if he comes in heavy, he'll be slower in evading Stipe...who already was cutting the cage on him quite nicely, not to mention chivvying him into the takedown. And when your head is being bounced off the mat, you're essentially being hit on the back of the head as well; good luck protecting against that trauma, you bulked-up muscles.

Too many ifs, too many variables: there is no "for sure" in fighting, and that goes double or even treble when you're talking heavyweights.

Dude, he was close to finishing off Stipe in their fight. I think if you give him a second crack, he could get the job done this time. But of course, I'd still slightly favor Stipe, because of his recovery, and wreslting.

But man, if Reem stays fighting like this, tag you, clinch to reset, tag you, clinch, knees, rinse and repeat, he's gonna be a mountain to overcome.

Oh i realize he almost had stipe. The hw division is my favorite and I've seen the fight more than once. I just would rather reem get one more win. Lewis and ngannou are on some pretty good streaks and reem should try to take one out.

Werdum has a better claim than reem as it is if he can takeout Rothwell.
