How come he let the Asian robot out to walk around and fuck? I'd think he'd have taken measures to ensure it wasnt dangerous
 
The AI unlocked it at the end when it turned red and he got away, the director said so

And my ultimate fantasy is that, that robot took her helicopter straight to my house and YES now I have the BEST robot in the world

The implication I'd say is that her intelligence(plus maybe independence) is significantly lower than Ava's to the degree he didn't consider her a threat, which she arguably wouldn't have been without the interaction with Caleb and Ava. He underestimates her the same way he underestimates Caleb.

Of course the film turns it around and also shows us that Caleb's driven by a rather selfish white knight fantasy.

Well, Poe Dameron based Ava off the ginger's porn profile so the look, personality, etc. was exactly what he was hot for. He inadvertently fell for her and believed she actually liked him. In the end, she was smarter than Poe though and was true AI since she took advantage of both of them to escape the compound.

I think in the ginger's mind, he was just going to rescue her and return to the city with her as his new, hot girlfriend. Poe would have survived in his compound. The plan was to get her out while he was drunk.

Caleb falling for Ava and her manipulating him to escape is exactly what Poe planned as a test of her having true AI, what he didn't plan for was Caleb going into action as early as he did putting the lock override into the system whilst he was drunk and indeed on him interacting with his pleasurebot.

yeah, it was the ultimate turing test imo, an arrogant programmer nerd that cant score with chicks all of the sudden is faced a robot AI that has all the traits he wanks off to, dude became an instant bitch for the machine, and thus humanity was doomed because one guy could not get laid

Some people said things may eventually unlock... can't remember the logic behind that theory unless it was him scheduling the lockdown to end.

In a way, the creator guy had it coming. He knew AI was a threat to humans and still pushed to create one. I genuinely believe people like that should not live. The naive ones who push forward and think there is no threat, too.

It seems I was the only person who was genuinely creeped out by this scene. I knew for a fact that the maid wasn't human at this point, so maybe that was part of why it weirded me out in the theatre.

If I was that ginger, nothing would stop me from finding her and humping her. I would escape that place. If I had to claw out or break windows or blow something up - I would escape.

And then I would march across that wilderness like a possessed Roman legionnare. I would eat dirt and grass if I had too. Woe to the wolf that thought I was easy prey. It would be dead, eaten and become my clothing and a symbol of my victory.
