Just rewatched weidman vs rockhold

Just rewatched the fight and it was Weidmans to win, a few more of those body kicks landing at will and I think he could have finished luke.

I'll be betting on weidman to win the rematch, I remember watching it live and I thought rockhold made it look easy, but it just wasn't the case.

Woodman got an early take-down and everything after that was Rockhold breaking him down. Weidman threw that kick because he wanted out of there.

Didn't say it was an even fight, I said from what I saw I think Weidman can win the rematch by clinching against the fence and breaking with those body kicks. He needs to stay away from the ground, Luke is to much of an opportunist on the ground.

Those body kicks had nothing on them though and Chris was fading. If anything, those kicks were just draining him even faster.

I was agreeing with you. I felt both guys had the slight upper hand at different moments. I felt Chris had a slight edge, but where Luke is most dangerous is in the scrambles and his kicks. I think the rematch is 50/50

There could be a argument that Rockhold was up 2 round to none. I had it 19-19 but after hearing arguments and rewatching the fight I could see how some could think Rockhold won both. But I agree, Rockhold looked to be gassing before the kick.

Well if he was a shell of himself in the last 3 fights what makes you think he won't continue to become more of a shell? I really want your opinion on shells.
