Just rewatched Silva/Bisping

Excellent post TS. The way you can't count makes me think you have a future in the UFC in some sort of position scoring fights.

Nothing significant happened early in round 3 other than Bisping throwing and landing a little bit more than Silva.

Silva actually didn't start showing any aggression until two minutes left.

With around 45 seconds left there are a series of 2 or 3 exchanges in which Bisping wins them all. He loses his mouthpiece in the last one with around 10 seconds left and that's when he loses focus on the fight and gets hit by the knee at the last second.

did you score round 3 a 10-8 or a 10-9? your post says 10-8 and if thats how you scored it, it shouldve been a draw

I dont think round 3 was a 10-8 round

Round three SHOULD have been a 10-8 round but hardly any judges score them that way. There was a time on here when everyone was clamoring for judges to start being more liberal with 10-8 rounds then every time one of them was ,the same people would throw hissy fits about it.

10-8 from 1 knee? you're a terrible judge.

LMAO at 10-8...

Then I guess round 2 should be a 10-8 for Bisping since he knocked Silva down.

Robbie just won a fight vs Condit for the same reason Anderson lost. Think about that. It's got to be one or the other. Judging is horrible.

Why do people think they need to create their own thread to post their opinions rather than the 731 threads already created on the fight?

I agree, the only way you give it 10-8 is if you count the flying knee, that was waved off. (and I am not saying a knockdown is -1 like boxing, I am saying that in MMA a 10-8 must be SUPER decisive).

lol at anything close to 10-8.

if that was 10-8, then round 1 of the rematch between silva and weidman was a 10-4

knocked out but yet able to point to silva commiting the foul right after getting knocked down? ya ok

We see lots of people slightly moving and sometimes even talking to refs after being KOed. I see no reason to treat Bisping any different.

I'm no Ando fan. Haven't been ever. But I watched a fight where a man was beaten to a pulp. Was KOed and given 4 minutes to recover. Had his face broken and was staggered multiple times.... and that man won the fight.

Bisping gets a decision, to nearly bookend his UFC career, Hamill to Silva. If not for judges, he'd have no standing in this sport. Which quite honestly is a shame, because he seems to work very hard and care very much about this sport.
